Congrats Romer! Very cool find! I know NOTHING about Rotoplast but reading your posts have helped teach me a bit - thank you! I hope to have a loose collection someday but right now I am concentrating on my MOC/MIB collection.

Speaking of that, just bought AGE's MISB Castle Grayskull! I' ve wanted one for years and he was a pleasure to negotiate with! SO thrilled right now! Will be AFAing in a few weeks when my wallet is no longer on fire.

Nothing as amazing as finding a MIB Snake Mountain, but I did find a good condition Extendar for $3 at a second-hand store this weekend. It's always cool to add a figure you never had as a kid to your collection.

Grizzlor feels as tight as if he was brand new. Fisto is a little wobbly. Those black bands kill me. I wish so much that when the "reissues" came out in 2001 they gave the figures leg joints like Flying Fists He-Man. They had to make new molds anyway so why didn't they just make them sturdier? Had they done that, I probably wouldn't even be collecting MOTUC and those reissues would be my default MOTU collection.

Same to you! I have a Jitsu on a nice card but the bubble is a brilliant buttery yellow. Seems he's hard to get on a clear bubble. Was yours clear before the bad packing job cracked it?

I'm waiting on two very desireable MOTU items but since they are from AGE and Aeolus, I have no fears about bad packing.

Lastly, I don't have a new acquisition to add to the thread but I did miss out on going to the Toy Man toy show last week - I heard from Icer (who went) that there was a set of loose complete MOTU dinos (Bionotops, etc) as well as a complete Grayskull with box for $200! It was unclear whether it was open or not, I'm waiting for confirmation. Will definitely hit that show up in March when it returns and hopefully post my finds here!

exactly.... the yellow is caused by two things.. either there is a hole in the bubble where oxygen is allowed in and causes the change, or the plastic bubble was a bad batch i know with the Jitsu's they are hard to come by with clear bubbles like damn near impossible to find, i gather it's because the plastic was a different mix compared to other figures. either way.. i gather by the time we all hit 80 and these figures are
60 and 70 years old... limbs will start to fall off but at least they will be MOC

This is so true my friend. I think when we are all 50 years old most of the bubbles will have yellowed , so to me a yellow bubble is ok as long as there are no cracks in it....

The concept of the Commemoratives didn't allow changes in design. Nor would
they have done it if they could, I think.
Vintage Masters and rubber bands belong together - whether we like it or not!
In some 20-30 years time most Classics will be loose like raggedy dolls.
Then people will be complaining about that ... you'll see!

Just picked up a Mint MOC Twistoid with Energy Zoids comic.. paid 300 for it... not too sure if i over paid but it's quite rare and seems to be a fair price.

oh it's worthy.. small crease on the top left corner.. i think a 75 would be the grade based on the one corner crease, clear bubble.. i'm picking it up in a few days so i will have a better look, as for moving it along... not quite i've been looking for this one for a while with the comic.. but we can save that for the marketplace..

it's bigger but not that much bigger.. i always found the B class carded figures are a bit annoying. They are much harder to find MINTY.. just because there is more surface area to be dinged up. but if you can find em Minty.. Great job

FINALLY located, purchased and received a gray variant Eternia laser. I've been looking for this for years and picked it up for a decent price... About $70. I was ready to drop $300 so I felt like I got a deal anyway.

For those that don't know there are a few eternia variations. This is the most obvious. The other is a cat face with different eye color, which ill probably skip. But ever since I heard about this variation, I knew I had to have it.

Too bad it was missing its visor/shield. Course I can always swap the one in my red laser for display. Without it, I'm sure I got a cheaper price.
