Is there any mention of Centurions in the comic? I am pretty sure Hasbro owns that property as well

It's a bit of a shock seeing my Synergy and Biotron in that page.
Especially considered Synergy was a 10 minutes design done the very last minute for the cover!

Has there been any more news regarding this?
...now what am i to do? i am gathering all the pieces of my Centurions to sell them, but if there are going to be NEW sets for them, i might need to hold on to them, unless the new will not be compatible.
I still need MOTUC: King Grayskull, King Randor, Wun-Dar, Gygor, Grizzlor, and Preternia He-Man

Not yet, tomorrow is Hasbro's panel where they should at least comment what the next step is for this stuff.
They won't be compatible if they were to go forward, unless they released commemorative versions I can almost guarantee you these would be different enough. The original line was really big and today it would take up too much space in a toy aisle I think.
If anything you should hold of selling them because the value will certainly go up just like it has for older MOTU, Thundercats & Silverhawks and JEM

I am suprised that Centurions is even on the table for a revival. I thought it was viewed as a failure in the '80s. Mind you, I am not complaining.
Now I just need to see a return of C.O.P.S 'n crooks to go along with M.A.S.K and Centurions and I will be one happy (and poor) fanboy

Hasbro would not have gone to all this trouble to release something like this only to drop it. I am sure they have something in the works and I wouldn't be suprised if Emiliano has already done some of the design work for it.
I think this is just a teaser and there will be more at NYTF which is for retailers, correct?
That would be a better place for Hasbro to show what their plan is because they will need retail backing to get it off the ground
i hope someone plugged away about Micronauts and MASK. the ONLY reason the relaunch of the 'nauts was due to the crappy plastic they used.

I'm not sure if I like this comic description of M.A.S.K. from somebody at the allspark forum:
Sounds more like a job for C.O.P.S..Next up is MASK. They kept the name, the name Matt Trakker, the transforming vehicles and the masks but the story seems to be totally different. It’s an urban dystopia future Detroit abandoned by the government, with social services shut down. Police officer Matt Trakker and his 4 civil servant friends found an ancient cache from some group called “the League of Ancient Wheelmen” and are using that tech to augment themselves and their vehicles and fight for their disintegrating city. Reading it now, it’s not a bad set up for a toyline/comicbook adventure really, but I was thrown on my first read by just how different it is from Classic MASK. Like the art on the characters a lot here definately.
Well JEM was a teaser for NYTF, the others could be a teaser for things they might think about doing next year. Kind of like put out a feeler so they can begin work since it takes up to 2 years to design and launch a new toyline (remember MOTUC for example was prototyped in 2007, tested in 2008 and did not "launch" till 2009)

M.A.S.K was mentioned about a year or more ago as a product that Hasbro is looking to for a potential movie.
I am not sure how I feel about the description posted by Firefly but at least it is something. In the end, the important thing for me will be the look of the vehicles, everything else is just secondary
Yeah I would wager everything in that comic is coming in some form, from the comic we already know or have some proof:
Battleship Galaxies - Already on store shelves for Christmas and Battleship movie coming out shortly
JEM - Toy Fair 2012 Reveal
Micronauts - Movie just greenlit

It almost seems that Hasbro is becoming the Marvel of toy companies. They have seen massive success with Transformers and enough success with GI Joe to warrant a sequel. They are now looking at the huge amount of properties they own and may actually do something with them.
As much as I don't like Bayformers I think it's success is the reason for Hasbro to be willing to try with their other properties.
Oh completely, just like how Transformers the animated movie almost destroyed their animated franchises (its why GI Joe the Movie went to TV instead of the theatre) I think the live action Bayformers made them see the $$$$ potential.
Most of their properties have aged very well, JEM can be done today just as it was in the 80's and not really be that different. M.A.S.K, Centurions, Micronauts, etc all can be done just as easily now as they were then.
They are much easier to adapt then say GI Joe which is very dependent on political situations around the world being a military based show.
