Rules for What The Fans Want To Know:

The figures that can be produced are figures that were in the original MOTU, POP and NA lines, as well as in the mini-comics for these lines.
Characters that appeared in the 2002 MYP cartoon are also fair game.
Filmation characters are off limits!
Who will be produced will remain to be seen.

We will pick up to 5 questions we feel might get answers at that time. Please do not take offense to your question not being asked.
Also, we also edit questions to make them more concise, to be more specific, etc. Please take no offense to this either, as it's only meant to help.

The questions that were asked in the previous Q&A & will be answered in a couple weeks as follows (please do not repeat them, or questions from previous Q&As):

1. joseephus: What is the status of the MOTU Attitubes release dates, price, etc?

2. cyberv: If/when Catra is released, will she be an Evil Horde member? The original POP figure was not labeled this way but this is how most fans remember her.

3. Spectror: Are there countries that Mattel is prohibited from delivering to, and if so why? For instance, Matty Collector doesn't deliver to one of the fans in Serbia.

4. DamnSmooth: Has Mattel given any thought to breaking up the sale dates on Matty Collector? For example: Ghostbusters on the 1st, MOTUC on the 15th, Bonus Figures on another date, etc?

5. Lord_Of_Destruction: It's been stated that all female figures will use the same basic body. How will this affect a possible Veena figure since she is supposed to be barefoot and have an exposed midriff? Would her outfit be refreshed/altered or would she receive different tooling?

Is there any chance that a sheathe for He-Man's Power Sword could be a future bonus accessory? Or would that skate too close to the Filmation version?

Would it be possible to ship subscription figures two or three days in advance? This way the chaos on the 15th of each month could be reduced and subscribers would be guaranteed to get their figures first. It also could get more people into subscribing.

I've been wondering for awhile about the "dark" half of the Power Sword that comes with Skeletor. With this new cannon taking elements from the original mini-comics with the sword being split in 2, I thought it was weird that there was no mention of the dark half of the Power Sword in Skeletor's bio. Was that information intentionally left off Skelly's bio and will we ever learn how Skeletor gets the half sword in his possession?

Having just looked at the new pictures of Adora, I am confused. Why does her Sword of Protection look so different on this figure than it did on the prototype? The prototype was amazing but the new one seems to be a playdough mess, will this be coreccted or is it just a bad picture of the figure?

At SDCC, it was mentioned that you were looking into making larger figures. Since that comment I have heard nothing else except the confirmation that figures like Clawful and Tung Lashor will still be the same size as the rest of the MOTUC. So by larger figures, are you thinking of a MOTU line similar to the large Ghostbusters figures?

How are the Four Horsemen going to aproach to characters such as Whiplash or Buzz-Off, which have an armour that is also part of their body (some sort of exoskeleton)? Are they going to be as those seen before, or a new torso and abs sculpt?

Fans are concerned about Teelas height being the same, if not more, than other male MOTUC characters.

Will all female characters be the same scale relation to males figures like Teela or will there be any attention made to various female heights throughout the line?

Since it's supposed to be cloned from the Power Sword, would it be possible for Adora's sword to be painted 2-tones of silver to match He-Man's (gray hilt, metallic blade)?

(If it's too late in the production process to apply this change, could this be added to She-Ra's sword?)

It has been said in the past that there were plans to add more international shipping options, since as it is still today there is an affordable very slow $10 option and a very fast, quite expensive $50 option. Are there going to be more international shipping options in the near future? Specially for interntional subscribers.

For characters from the '80s that received little to no attention with 200X line (mosquitor, spikor, et al), will their unused prototypes be considered for the MOTUC line?

With all the references to multiple other MOTU canons, are the MOTUC bios just trying to pay homage to what came before, or are they actually trying to tie everything together into a single unified canon (IE a single canon completely encompassing mini comics, filmation, 200x, NA, etc)?

I know exclusive raffle items are a perk and incentive for people who attend SDCC, but what about giving fans a chance to win them on Mattycollector.com? A lot of us fans will never be able to attend a Con because of finance issues, having a physical handicap, or other issues that may prevent us from never having the opportunity to own these unique items.

With most of the major characters already made or coming soon, why not release Classic versions of the 200X costumes of the major human characters to keep the line from being harder to sell with C and D-list characters? This would basically be the major MOTU Classic characters wearing their 200X clothing as if it came out in the 80's, just as you've said how 200X would be represented in the Classics line. The 200X STYLE won't be revisited in MOTUC, but I'm talking about incorporating Classic versions of 200X costumes, as alternate looks.

If every monthly figure (motu) will sell out with ongoing units, how likely we're going to see every 80's motu figure in MOTUC (minus zoids)?

With Geoff Johns mentioning an interest in writing for a He-man comic. Is there any chance a deal could be made with DC (or any company) for a MOTU comic? This is a big mainstream writer expressing interest which could breath even more brand awareness for the MOTUC product.

I would love to know, how much would it cost if you produce a character like Modulok (of course in great MotuC Style)?
I mean how much could/must we fans pay, for a unique figure like a Modulok, because i don´t want to wait 1 or 2 years for those great figures without much space of recycling. I would pay 30$.

When Trap-Jaw is released, will he have his correct left hand? Because when Trap-Jaw was shown at the last SDCC he seemed to have the hands that Man-E-Faces should have instead.

Toyguru, I know you mentioned elsewhere future female figures would continue to use the "one-piece" outfit, but would Mattel consider making it a two-piece so they can use the waist-twist feature? The only two figures that benefit from a one-piece (design-wise) are Teela and Evil-Lyn. All the other women have distinct waists, skirts, pants, etc. I mean, Angella won't be able to move waist all the way down with her pants if this one-piece stays. Also, no design continues from bust down to skirt like Teela. The Teela one piece does ruin twisting/waist articulation. This will happen with ALL future females, regardless of the plastic/rubber/etc. See pictures here:

Several characters (such as Marzo, Bow and NA he-man) wear trousers. Are these characters going to represented properly or are they all going to be wearing a furry skirt and spandex? Even on the original toys we were given sculpted legs when they were required (Eg, rio blast, mantenna and 90% of the later released figures like the snake men).

Fans are continually having problems with loose joints, and many complained of Teela having a "bobble head." Can you confirm that these loose joint issues will be resolved? This has been going on for quite some time.

to make the Q&As an even better tool for communication between you and the fans could you give us basic topics that won't/can't be answered i.e. production numbers, future product(given a certain time frame), etc.

I think this would cut down on the clutter of redundant questions and could make way for better questions and communication.
