I've been toying with the idea of custom figures for a while; i've never customized anything before, and wanted to get in on the fun...well one thing let to another and now i love it! AND i get to have figures that are likely never to be released!
First custom is basically a repaint of Hordak in Filmation colors. I might change the gloves into arm bands if i ever get the spare parts from tri-klops.
Next up is Man-At-Arms! I didn't really feel the little mustache that came with the figure, so i bulked it up and painted it brown, as it should be.
Ok, this one took a little longer, and while it could have been better, i learned a lot about customizing by taking on such a big challenge. Here is Hunga The Harpy!!
I'm a little dissapointed in the quality of the pictures, as the real thing looks a little better. I'm also a little dissapointed in the paints and how shinny they make her, i even used dulling spray. I think my modeling looked way better before i painted her...oh well...i guess i can only get better.
I welcome all critiques or feedback as i really am trying to learn!

The wings are from DCUC Hawkgirl/Hawkman
The hands and Feet are from X-men:Evolution Night Crawler (I modeled talons on both).
The body and head is Teela...yep, she's in there...I took the dress off and tried giving her an articulated waist, it's a little too high and i think i'm gonna give up on the waist articulation going forward.

Hunga is the stand out - you made her look good!
No problem! Hunga is the leader of a bunch of Harpies on Etheria, she's exclusively Filmation and that's really the main reason i wanted to do her. She's always giving Queen Angela and Glimmer headaches.To me she will always be the mean jealous butch girl to Angela's nice pretty and composed self.
I'm glad you guys like her! I'm planning on doing more customs as i get spare figures, mostly i will be focusing on characters we might never see made.

Yes, they are the DC universe classics Hawkgirl wings, they are pretty hard to remove so i ended up sawing them off at the base to preserve all the articulation, and superglued them onto the back of hunga.

Second : Hunga was a very difficult challenge, and I think you did allright ! Of course, we can see you sculpted a lot of things yourself, but all in all, I believe it is the first custom harpy with such quality I've seen !

They all look great! Your custom skills are definitely ace. I love your Hordak, Vultak and Hunga.
Great to see POP fans making figures. Vultak is one of those characters I've wanted to see before a very long list of MOTUC releases. Your version looks exactly as I envisioned him.
