Lots going on in the MOTU world. We got in a new sample of Moss Man. Almost there. His fur is not quite the right color, so we're going to hold off until we have a more finished sample on this guy before posting.
We also got early samples of Battle Cat in package in. Have a bit of an issue that his mask is falling off in package. We're doing everything we can to fix this before the full production is finished. He'll come in a box with a blister back (similar to the original toy) so worst case is the box can be opened without damage to slide the mask back on. But we'll do all we can to avoid this!
As soon as we have a better sample we'll post it for all to see.
And the big news, we've got our April 2010 figure all lined up. You can catch the first images of EVIL LYN in the next issue of Toy Fare magazine! Which version is she? You'll just have to wait until Toy Fare's 2010 preview in issue 150 to find out!

weirdly, I don't care if it's yellow or MYP anymore. I just can't wait to get her. I love them both, but if i had to make the call i'd prolly say MYP just so i could get a bonus head with no helmet. (and demand a yellow repaint as a bonus later on)

I'd say 80% yellow skin and 20% pale skin as the probabilities of which version it will be.

I'd say she'll be the "Classic" yellow version in April, the a re-release 200x/Filmation bonus version down the road.

Maybe there will be 2 versions of her. Yellow version for the subscription....200x or Filmation version as the bonus figure.

I prefer her 200X colours but I expect the yellow version will be made first, which will suffice for now.

yeah this is a hard one. i think i want the yellow skinned version more as it would pop, or is the POP, more in my display and in my childhood, sugar coated brain.
I want NA Skeletor and Rio Blast and I want them now!
I'd rather not have yellow skin, cause of the possibility of uber-brightness of the yellow.

I think they'll go with classic colors for Evil-Lyn, and then eventually do a 200x repaint for a bonus figure, much like they did with Zodac/Zodak.
It's nice to hear that they're thinking about the MIB collectors concerning the mask of Battle Cat falling off in the box.
I'm all for nostalgia, but yellow skin...lame. This isn't the 80's nor is it 2002, let's see something new.
I'll root for 200x version... Yellow skin always annoyed me as a kid, and now I know why. Racist, racist, racist! 200x was SO much better all the way around for her.

I want yellow skin for nostalgia purposes, but honestly I think the flesh colored Evil Lyn would be better. I really want an alternate unhelmeted head, but think it might look weird if she has yellow skin. Maybe we can hope for a fusion of both, skin that isn't crayon yellow, but tinted just enough to make her seem otherworldly. A cape is a must...fingers crossed...
