Yeah...these guys are pretty much some of the most hated characters in MOTU. They are going to be tough to do.

I agree with most of the others here I can't stand the scientists when ever they showed up on screen. They were so annoying and irritating and those horrible voices!

I WOULD buy them... but I'd rather have Drissi, Caz, Mara, Crita, and Master Sebrian before them...
Toyguru, read this: The Rebellion needs Glimmer!! I NEED Glimmer!! Pretty Please?

So how would these guys ever get released?

I think an ultra limited SDCC exclusive could do it. NA fans would pay the price and resellers would love to get a limited numbered item that also doubles as a SDCC exclusive. I think this is the only way they would move.

I agree, Gleep was the only good thing about the show, but as for the scientist, it seems by reading the bios for NA that ToyGuru asked for that the toyline and cartoon were totally different again. So if the Bio Toyguru comes up with for them, makes them more important, then I am all for it. He-man needs a replacement for Duncan in the future anyway right?

Optikk proved that a good bio can go a long way for an unpopular character.

The year these bores get made, will be the same year the MOTUC line ends

I'm not sure even the die hard NA fans would buy them! lol

Maybe. Personally, I wouldn't like to have all of this NA stuff pushed to the end of the line, where most of MOTUC's only customers would be the most hardcore of NA fans.

That's what this thread is here to find out--how many of the hardcore NA fans (or MOTU completists) would buy The NA Scientists.

Totally agree with this, especially when it comes to humans or any scientists.

Without a doubt I'd buy them, but absolutely only after The Warrior in Yellow Who is Participating in Tug of War, Josh, The Eternia Dancers, and The Mystery Gal From "The Red Knight" are released. Then I'd stick the four on a shelf next to Optikk and any future mutants that will be released into the Classics line and pose said mutants as if they were beating the living daylights out of 'em. Let's see you run now!!!

I do want them. They were annoying as hell in the beginning, but actually get a LOT better later on. Those three are NA's Man-At-Arms, basically.

I think a 3 pack would do for them. I mean, they don't really need a lot of articulation (since they're fairly little). I'd like them.

Absolutely not. They are probably the worst characters ever made. It says a LOT when even a die hard MOTU completist such as myself never wants to see these made into figures.

    4 pack. 4 Scientists.

And you're right, there wouldn't be alot of tooling with 3 of them since three of them have long robes. Geppel (the really small one) has the articulation level of Orko. Alcon (the tall one) has normal articulation. The last two, while taller, have Orko-like articulation too.

LOL! The NA Scientists would be an enormous challenge for MOTUC, Toyguru and the 4H. Despite their low level of popularity, if MOTUC can successfully pull them off, it'll provide ultimate bragging rights for this line--right up there with completing the royal family.

Oh yeah, four. They usually only have 3 on-screen at a time. I just forgot.

No! They're up with the Manchines and Meteorbs as MotU characters I pretend don't exist.

What Jetlag characters do you and the 4H want to work on?

Filmation gets the lion's share of the press, but we also have the Jetlag Rights as well. Unlike Filmation's huge cast of characters, there aren't alot of characters that NA fans really want besides the regular appearing secondary characters.

So which Jetlag characters are you, the MOTUC team and the 4H itching to make?

To be dead serious, their really aren't that many that take priority for me personally. At least enough to bump a NA figure. Mara and the scientists come up a lot on fan polls. Unless we really see additional breakout Jetlag figure with a ton of fan support, we really aren't scouring Jet Lag for anyone deeper then main characters not made as toys. (vs. Filmation we know their is a lot more demand for obscure characters from 1 or 2 episodes like Icer, Shakoti or Strong Arm.)

What say you fans, anyone obscure you really want beyond main characters?
At least that's encouraging news for the scientists...

naaa, NA is already overlooked enough, having NA obscure characters (like those) made would just result in a major flop, imo
    The following statement is true:
    The previous statement is false.

iīd love the 4 scientists as well as UR and gleep and the Gleanons and Galactimytes. i really like the idea of making it a second light hearted SDCC item. since they arenīt really fighting characters, i wouldnīt mind a lot less articulation if that helps make up for the tooling they'd need.

I'd like to see the scientists. They're not spectacular characters, I'll admit, but they did feature heavily in the cartoon and thus I would like to see them turn up in the line.

Looking at that photo, two things come to mind:

    1) The short squatty one could totally share a Gwildor buck.
    2) The bald one looks a lot like Lubic at he end of the MOTU movie...

    My seller/trader/buyer feedback:
    http://he-man.org/forums/boards/showthread.php?t=195461

MOTUC Most Wanted: Skeletor's Robot Knights, Two-Bad, Horde Troopers, Modulok, Sssqueeze, Tung Lashor, Stridor, Night Stalker, the Battle Ram, and a true, alternate head for Wun-Dar (since he's a "different" character)!

    Hey Everyone,

At some point, yes. However, there are several other Jet Lag "NA" animated characters, that I would personally suggest are more important, such as, Master Sebrian, Mara, Drissi, Crittera, Kaz, NA-Adam, Sorceress, Teela, would all interest me more. However, it would be great if the Scientists arrived in the "MotU:C-line", after some of the above.

    Take Care,
    Darren
Mattel please, buy the He-Man and She-Ra cartoons from Entertainment Rights. If you owned Both Filmation related "MotU" cartoons, plus "NA" and "MYP" cartoons, you would be able to distribute any or all 4 cartoons to Television in the lead up to another relaunch or a live action movie. Plus, you could include Filmation and "NA" animated characters in "MotU:C"!

    Long Live 'MOTU'!
