He's a fairly obscure character. So that plus the fact that he would be more expensive at a larger size would probably turn off a lot of people. I'd suggest they put their efforts elsewhere.

If they do make him, I'd say 1 1/2 to 2 times the height of a normal figure is plenty big.

While I would love to have a Classics Tytus the size of the original, I seriously doubt Mattel would make him that large. We'd be lucky if he was half that size

Original size was huge even for the MOTUC figures, so its a fine size for my collection and fits great on MOTUC line.

    I need Tytus and Megator!!!

I'd love it if he were the original scale. I never realized how HUGE he was. But if it were 12'' I'd be okay with that too.

I like whatever that one on the left is... roughly double height.

Same scale between old motu/giant and motuc/motuc giants would be awesome, but too expensive...

Anyone want to figure out that height based on ratio?

I'd like him to stay large. I'd be disappointed if he was less than 18". Anything 12" or under and I'd prefer he just never got made.

The size of the Rotocast He-Man would be enough for me.
He should be just a little bigger then an extended Extendar.

Happy with any of the three, probably the middle one best.

I would like to see the prototype too! I wonder if the proto was molded with straight legs which would make him close to 17". Because the final figure, as you can see, has his legs molded in a pose where he is not standing completely straight up.

The ML Sentinel and Galactus were 18" tall. That would be the size to go for.

I hope the fans are ready to put their money where their mouthes are...
Hey Toyguru, how expensive would an 18" Tytus or Megator be in the MOTUC style?

Well, what I would like/go for and what Mattel are thinking could be practical for cost purposes will be two differnet things I guess - I could live with the Roto size which is about 10" if need be. DCU Atom Smasher is only 9" and he looks plenty big enough alongside He-man and MAA.

I thought I would give another height example, as some have said they might want 18 inches as another option. While I don't have anything 18, I do have a 20 inch on the left and 17 inch on the right. Check out He-man in the middle to get an idea of what the normal MOTUC figures will look like next to a giant.

Im mainly curious that Mattel didnt keep production samples, It amazes me that the Company that made the toys has to ask fans for details of said toys! Ive always believed that companies kept Archives of everything, obviously not.

I would love to know how different the Prototype is, if its a different size, maybe it has got straight legs and not Hunched.

The giants should be at the VERY LEAST as tall as the originals. Idealy though, I would say 18 inches would be about perfect. (thats what she said) Make em HUGE!!!

I like the Rotocast He-Man, and he still looks awesome compared to Classics He-Man. DCUC gets by with a 10" buck, and I'd be plenty happy with a 10" Tytus and Megator.
i agree with this post. 10 in works for me.

    Actually, they're 15.5" tall.

But I agree that around 18 inches would be the ideal size for the giants.

Tytus MUST be AT LEAST the size of the 1980's figure ! So, at leat 15". 18" would be even better.

Bigger would be even better. MOTUC Tytus and Megator would be AWESOME addition to any MOTU fan's collection !

If (when) they get to Tytus and Megator, they should be the same size relative to the regular figures in MOTUC as the originals figures were relative to the 80's line. Tytus' grabber weapon should be able to reach down and grab a MOTUC figure the same as the original could grab an 80's figure. 17" or 18" tall would be perfect IMO.

I'm with Brad2dbone on this. If he's less than 12" I'd rather him not made. I'd buy him anyway (and imagine him as an Apache Chief/Giganta type growing character), but he needs to be at least at big as the original Tytus.

I don't even need all the crazy points of articulation. Just make him roto-molded so he's hollow to save plastic, and I'd be happy.

If they did make them, I would hope they would be in the 10" to 12" range. In all honesty though, I would rather have those tooling dollars go towards more figures like Leech, Mantenna, Extendar, etc. I would rather have a complete collection of the small figures before Tytus and Megator came out.

Hasnt mattel done a giant 'Modulator' or whatever it was from one of the DC lines alraedy? It was at SDCC as a prize (I think), so its not out of their realms to do one for MOTUC!
