To quote Hordak: FLOWEEERS!!!!
As I said this wasn't about everyones' favorite, but more about the most improbable characters, deemed too "girlie" by many people
It kinda passed overlooked......Where was this posted?![]()
There was a thread reporting artwork from some auctions.
Those pieces showed many Filmation prelimiary concepts for Hordak and other Horde members, where they looked nothing like the toys.
So it's a safe bet the Evil Horde idea was concievd for the POP cartoon and then the characters have been developed by Filmation at first and then with Mattel.

Yeha, I'm alwasys surprised when news like that come out and no one seems to notice.
Anyway, it isn't like we have written proof.
But all the elements we have lead to that conclusion.
Many Evil Horde filmation designs are too distant from the toys.
And all of them are part of a package of POP development art we've acquired.
Even if Mattel was somehow involed, we can now say that is 99% sure the Evil Horde was developed for the She-Ra cartoon. And not added later to sell MOTU toys.

Spinnerella. She's very girly and I like her better than Perfuma. MotUC is supposed to adapt PoP-characters and make them fit into MotU - that means major changes in my expectation, at least for characters like Perfuma. They need to become fighters, otherwise they aren't MotU - not too difficult to achieve that for Frosta or Mermista, but much more for Spinnerella or particularly Perfuma. I just don't care for Perfuma, so Spinnerella got my vote anyway.![]()

Well, Perfuma is already done now, sorry
But I totally disagree, I don't think every single character has to be fighter to be part ofMOTU.
That's just not how stories work.
I don't see why other characters can't fit in MOTU.. LOL I just can't wrap my mind around the idea of a story where everyone is a fighter.
I see her a lot like Jean Grey. She always kind of stood off to the side, did not engage in hand-to-hand combat, but she was very capable of disabling people from afar.
My vote is for Spinnerella when can we see her redesign?
Hey Super7 I'm looking forward to what you do for Classics and I'm awaiting these figures!
Spinwit, Gepple, Alcon, Meldoch, Krax, Kayo, Stridor, Kittrina, Melaktha, Drissi, Master Sebrian, Sagitar, Vizar, Nocturna

I think after Perfuma, the hardest characters here to adapt would be Flutterina and Peekablue. Though I really do want to see a MOTUC Frosta! With her cape, she might be hard too though. If only we could have seen these girls in 200X.
Respectfully, I kind of disagree ... nearly everyone in MotU is essentially a fighter ... there aren't a lot of characters, particularly who've made it to figure form, who aren't fighters in one way or another (I'm including the magicians as fighters - just because they don't fight with weaopns doesn't mean they're not in the thick of the battle).
The world they live in is particularly full of violence/conflict, and anyone who can't defend him/herself isn't going to last very long.
In my opinion, that certainly hasn't hampered the storytelling we've seen so far.
That being said, I agree with gbagok that Flutterina and Peekablue would be harder to adapt to a cool MotUC look. I think Spinnerella's right up there too.
Let's put this way: from my little experience as a writer, you just can't write a story where everyone has the same role.
Plus in MOTU stories hardly everybody is a fighter. Pick ANY cartoon episode and start deleting any non-fighter character and see what remains of the story itself.
Hmmm, the most obvious one: Not So Blind.
Without Loss, what is the story about?
Emiliano! I love your work! It's really something to me!
Are you planning on doing more of your POP visions?
I would Love Entrapta or Angella![]()
I voted for Castaspella.
I love her ever since I first saw her back in 1986. Almost at first sight
Maybe she ressembles someone I know or knew back then.
Santalux: I hope you get to draw them all. Great Work

I'd love to see your take on a MOTUC Frosta! Please Emil draw a cool Frosta!!
I can't wait to see your next design !
I didn't know Perfuma was so popular ! She was actually my favorite PoP figure ^^
But I voted for Frosta, since she's from the 1st wave. Glimmer would have been cool too, since she was there since episode 1, but she's not in the list...![]()
I want to see Mermista! Cause what ever you come up with is probably be what The Four Horsemen will come up with.
