Sadly, I think a 200x Roboto is probably out of the cards.Roboto was one of the best re-designs of the series. I love his big feet and the big bulkiness of him.
This is a tally of what alternate 200X costumes in the MOTUC style that we want to get made "in time". I'm thinking that when the line has monthly figures like Rotar and Perfuma, we'll need these alternate versions to keep the line afloat.http://www.poeghostal.com/2009/11/as...-november.html
2.) PrfktTear asks: Whenever Evil-Lyn is made for MOTUC, will she have her Classic yellow skin/blue armor? Will she be available as a bonus with the 2002 white skin/purple armor?
It is too early for me to comment on any unannounced figures, but I can tell you our long term plan is to do multiple versions of main characters, especially if they had two distinct looks like Evil-Lyn does.
While they might take awhile to make it to the line, we've got confirmations on Mattel wanting to do 200X versions of Prince Adam, Randor and Evil-Lyn "in time". 200X He-Man was mentioned twice and 200X Skeletor was mentioned once.

1) Any idea if there is going to be a completely new sculpt for the release of MOTUC Prince Adam (different build and features) like the 200x series, or will it be a modified MOTUC He-Man base model?
In time we are looking to do both.http://www.figures.com/forums/news/9...ber-1st-q.html
4) The MOTUC King Randor figure looks great but it has absolutely no 200X influence in it’s design. Is there a possibility we may get a 200X-styled Randor in the near future?
Quote:
Yes, we could get to a 200X version of Randor in time (in the classics style mind you).So far this only means the major human characters who can easily change their classic clothes to the 200X based clothes, but in Classics style (Randor, Marlena, Man-At-Arms), younger versions (Adam, Teela) or major characters who can magically change their appearance to their 200X look (Skeletor, Evil-Lyn, King Hiss, Sorceress).Kastor's Korner
Kastor: The 80's Evil Lyn was a repaint of Teela with a new head. With the new line are you looking to give her an original sculpt or will she have the same treatment as her 80's version?
Matty: I can’t comment on unannounced figures, but the long term plan is to do multiple version of Evil Lyn. (Editors note: This was asked before she was announced last night as the April 2010 figure)
One big rule: This doesn't mean the monstrous characters like Stinkor, Buzz-Off, Webstor, Clawful or Hordak are on the table since MOTUC blends the 200X look with the vintage look. Besides, TG shot down a 200X Hordak.
I'll constantly update this first page and add the number of supporters behind each outfit or look, so Mattel, Toyguru and the 4H can see which alternate 200X costumes that we want the most. Obviously, the highly demanded costumes will take precedence over the costumes with fewer votes. Voters can vote for multiple characters.
----------------------------------------------------
Prince Adam and Evil-Lyn are exempt since they are coming eventually.
King Randor would be too, but which costume...there are three of them!
200X Sorceress + 15
200X Queen Marlena + 14
200X King Randor + 12
200X He-Man + 11
200X Battle Armor Marlena + 10
200X Man-At-Arms + 9
200X Teela + 9
200X Skeletor + 9
200X Captain Randor + 7
200X Battle Armor Randor + 7
200X Battle Cat + 6
200X King Hiss + 6
So, who do you guys want most?

He-Man + 1
King Randor + 1
Battle Armor Randor + 1
Queen Marlena + 1
Battle Armor Marlena + 1
Sorceress + 1
King Hiss + 1
Evil Lyn +1
I suppose it's kinda wishywashy, but put me down for one of each. All of those 200X designs were great and deserve a figure.

Alexx has a blog?! Come on in and check out Toys and Tomfoolery! You won't regret it...until the next morning.
Prince Adam
Teela
He-Man
Captain Randor
King Randor
Battle Armor Randor
Queen Marlena
Battle Armor Marlena
Sorceress (MYP colours)
Sorceress (classic colours like the staction)
Evil Lyn (purple outfit, pale skin)
Not counting Adam and Evil Lyn since Mattel said they wanna do 200X versions of them. I'd like to see the following in 200X "look" (MOTUC bodies but clothes and/or hairstyles resembling the 200X):
Teela
He-Man
Skeletor
Marlena
Duncan
Sorceress (with Vintage colors)
Randor (either King or Capt.)
Keldor/Skeletor (If they won't make them separate make a keldor with an additional Skeletor head).
Toyguru, read this: The Rebellion needs Glimmer!! I NEED Glimmer!! Pretty Please?
Add +1 to Sorceress and Queen Marlena.

MGM,
you should add the confirmation for 200x He-man too in the first post.![]()
i'd be super stoked for a 200x style randor for sure. just his regular outfit, though i guess his galactus helmet in season 2 is pretty radical as well
Battle Armor Marlena. Would make sense to have a figure of her if they're doing 200X Randor.

He-Man-I'm indifferent to this one, but I wouldn't mind having the armor/harness.
Battle Cat + 1 (I like the idea of this being retconned into MOTUC bio continuity as BC's New Adventures armor.)
Man-At-Arms-(I would take his 200X blaster and I do want Snake MAA and Snake Armor MAA, but I don't crae about his regular 200X`armor.)
Teela-I'd like a long-ponytailed head, but that's all.
King Randor-Meh.
Captain Randor + 1
Battle Armor Randor-Meh
Queen Marlena+1 (I'd prefer the early mini-comic look, or Filmation, when possible.)
Battle Armor Marlena + 1
Sorceress + 1 (I'll take as many Sorceress versions as I can get!)
Skeletor-(I'd buy it, but I like the one I have fine.)
King Hiss-Meh. I'm sure I'll like whatever version Mattel cooks up for Classics first. Alternate heads could be cool.
Not to sound like a creepy cheerleader for Uki, but it's nice to know there is at least one person on this forum who is extremely positive & friendly all the time. I don't think I could be that nice even if you paid me. If we ever give out awards for "forum member of the month", Uki gets my vote. -Mr. Shokoti
Jungle Attack He-Man in Classics!
I really hope this means 'Savage TEELA' from the DC Comics mini is possible. She should come with a laser pistol and a sword. God, that would be sweet!
I don't know if it would ever happen, but I'd really dig a 'Casual 200x MAN-AT-ARMS:
-Only the green part of his armor... no gold
-No helmet... so we can see the mini ponytail

Prefers ZODAC with human feet!
I love them all. I would buy each one without hesitation.
I'm hoping for a Disco Skeletor for the next subscription exclusive! Fully flocked!
"I don't like to feel good! I like to feel EVIL!"
WHY do people keep saying, "We might get 2002 designs, in classic style though?" OF COURSE THEY ARE GOING TO BE IN CLASSIC STYLE!!!
It's to let the 200X haters and others know that we aren't looking for unique sculpts. Some people can't tell the difference. And we don't want this to turn into another vs thread. Sometimes things are so bad, the 200X fans can't make a thread without it turning into one big fight.
I know. That would be my most wanted dream figure in this line. Hopefully, Mattel's partnership with DC makes her a possibility!
I'd think a 200X MAA would have a meched-out bodysuit buck that Lay-Z Man mentioned long ago. Give him the MOTUC MAA head, bracers, loincloth, boot, armor and mace. The new accessories would be the 200X BFG canon, Battle Glove (???) and unmasked head.I don't know if it would ever happen, but I'd really dig a 'Casual 200x MAN-AT-ARMS:
-Only the green part of his armor... no gold
-No helmet... so we can see the mini ponytail

I will definitely support all 200x versions of characters. I definitely want to see unique 200x versions of Randor, Sorceress, Prince Adam, and Evil-Lyn. I also really would love a 200x "young" Teela in MYP colors and the longer ponytail. I loved that they added colors from Man-At-Arms' and Sorceress' palettes to Teela's colors in her outfit.

I want:
He-Man,
King Randor,
Queen Marlena,
Prince Adam,
Teela,
Man-At-Arms,
Skeletor,
Keldor,
Whiplash,
Buzz-Off,
Sorceress,
Evil-Lyn
Among the few figures I really want in 200x costumes are:
He-Man in his Snake Armor
Man At Arms (preferably in his Snake Armor)
Kobra Khan (I still feel a new "lanky" body style should be made for thinner guys like Khan, Buzz Off and Webstor)
By and large, I think the "Snake Armor" motif would be a great way to integrate 200x into the line, yet still keep some individuality and allow for some nice reuse for expensive tools (Man E Faces and Ram Man got Snake Armor in the show, and aside from new shoulder pads and helmet for Ram Man, most are nothing more than repaints of their base figure)
Put me down for
Skeletor
The Sorceress
BA Marlena
Rigby the Barbarian - Swords, Sorcery and Sarcasm
So far, The Sorceress is the top clothing variant from 200X that everyone wants, with Queen Marlena and 200X He-Man coming in afterward.

Part of me is glad to hear that there is a mix going on with classic and 200x figures. I really want a Prince Adam with a He-man body and another with a smaller teenager body.
I think looking at Adora, we have an answer on which Prince Adam we'll be getting in 2010.
We survived the long night.... MOTU Forever!
I can almost see mattel making more 200X style figures than actually doing a second release with 200 influence. Some of the figures on that list, like Battle armor marlena, will probably be one of the last figures, if ever released. But something like Snake Armor He-man, or Sorceress I can totally see them doing.
Sadly, most of the 200X redesigns were to larger characters or something that would require a truly 100% unique sculpt. Doubt that will happen on something like this.
I'm actually fine with Mattel doing what they did with TrapJaw for example. Sure he's classic almost all the way. But has parts to make Kronis, and has a little 200X flair. I'm going to be shocked if both Fisto and Jitsu don't do the exact same thing. With the new arms with big fists and new heads/weapons to make them 200X or vintage.
So these are really the only one I see them doing from this list.
200X Sorceress
200X He-Man
200X King Randor
200X Skeletor
200X Evil Lyn
200X Prince Adam
Obviously these have all been mentioned as possibilities, because they make some sort of sense.
As for these two. I just see the 4H going the way of Hordak and giving us one look. Maybe a repaint of colors for Marlena down the road.
King Hiss
Queen Marlena
Even though 200x is probably my favorite toy line (motu or not), I definitely don't want to see variations of characters just for the sake of it.
I'd like Mattel to pick a style (classic, 200x, or mixed) and only do one version of each character. If they can come up with an idea that makes them two separate characters like Zodak and Zodac then great, but not variations of the same character please.
