    Fans might find it interesting to know that when the Horsemen sent the Randor sculpt months ago, they also attached a picture of the Burger King as well saying "seperated at birth..." so yeah, its been a running gag around here too...

    We won't (alas) have Skeletor samples to send out before he goes on sale, but really the only change is to give him the tighter grip hand and looser loin cloth material. Otherwise he is the same fig in an update package with "The Original" burst just like He-Man. All reissues will have this burst.

    And speaking of which, January should (hopefully) see a reissue of Beastman! ta da! There's some news for ya! Not every fig will get a reissue, but Beastman deserves some more sale time!

    Toyguru, that is awesome about Beastman. I was only able to help out a few people here with Beastman figures from NYCC, so I KNOW there are people who need him!!

    Cool review - the ending was funny!

    BUT

    You are automatically disqulified from the Burger King / Randor picture contest having had a review sample!!!!!

    Hey! Thoroughly enjoyed you review. I especially enjoy the comparosin segments. The BK ending with the food was great, also enjoyed the "Oh, Orko" music to accompany it. I call it that 'cuz that's the music they always play when Orko messes suttin' up at the end. Also, BK should give you some ad revenue.. cuz I'm 'bout ready to go after that!! haha

    I probably am one of the few that likes this design of King Randor. He looks awesome. When I was a kid he was one of my favorite figures in the line. Kudos to the Horsemen once again for updating this figure.

    What an awful figure.

    This is the first MOTUC I will be passing on. This is one time that the 4H should have incorporated a little more of the 200x design. The 80s figure was a goof, and this one is the same.

    Sorry, 4H, it seems there actually IS a figure that you guys just cannot make look cool.

    Only the Green Goddess for me in December.

    I'm really looking forward to Randor. Nice to see his cape has its own mold. I never had his figure as a kid. I'm also looking forward to a Whopper tomorrow. Thanks for the lunch idea and for the review, Pixel Dan!

    Yeah, I'd like to clarify...

    Dan's review was great, they always are!

    The figure is what was awful.

    I'm surprised folks are down on Randor despite all he has going for him...

    • Major character (He-Man's father AND King of Eternia)
    • Was in the original line
    • Was in Filmation

    AND looks JUST like his 80s version, which was horrid. That, for many of us, outweighs any positives listed above.

    Again, had the Horsemen included a little 200x influence, I would get him. As it is, I do NOT want the Burger King in my collection.

    I liked PD's review, it was as great as always.

    I will get two Randors (subscription + extra), for these reasons:
    * He is major/important character
    * He looks great
    * I had original

    From all the characters that has been released in this line so far, this is the third one I also had, when I was a little boy. Other two are/were He-Man and Skeletor.

    Come on, seriously, is the figure that bad? I mean why bother
    placing more 200X elements in a figure thats suppose to be geared
    off his vintage look, not to mention there's a possibility that a more 200X
    inspired Randor may come in the future.
