I honestly think you should be more involved with POP. If you keep showing us such great improvements with your Photoshop skills, I think the POP fans will finally adopt you !

I'm not especially a huge fan of POP's Great Rebellion girls, but this Frosta of yours is absolutely mindblowing ! Beautiful ! I'd buy her in a heartbeat ! And you know how demanding I can be !

Thing about Eamon's viewpoints are that he can bridge the gap between POP and MOTU.

I know you made a new reply about this, but I was busy making a comparison picture with all the different faces of Frosta and I wanted to post it still. I honestly have NO idea what the MOTU versions lips were based on. Not any of her source material. :S

I am sorry...at the risk of belaboring the issue, the folks at 4H Studios did not forget how to paint a toy :-)

I understand the paint job can (and hopefully will) be improved, but the lips are way off (in my opinion) and look kind of scary. There are a lot of nice things about Frosta, but I do not really find her head sculpt to be one of those. It doesn't look up to par with the rest of the ladies. I think it's the non-smooth skin and the lips. Everything can be fixed without re-sculpting but the lips.

Again, just my opinion.

That is absolutely 100% spot on! Now that IS the Frosta face I want to see! I really hope they re-do her to look like what Eamon has done here.

I am speaking as neither a fan of the original POP dolls or cartoon, so I certainly do not have the same attachment to the characters and expectations as others. (Though I do love POP's inclusion in MOTUC!) So, with that in mind . . .

I love this figure! I think that it looks great as is! It is a unique look, which is great! But she is still beautiful. I understand that it is kinda strange for a character like Frosta to have darker skin, but I like it. It adds an extra layer of exotic-ness, and I think that it makes a great contrast with the blue hair.

That being said, I also really like Eamon's touch-ups. I don't mind the original paint on the eyes and lips, but I can see how others might. Eamon offers a good correction. I do particularly love the head sculpt! The paint could just possibly be applied a bit better, which I'm sure it will be as the production of this figure continues.

Eamon I love your job on Frosty's face but you took out the dimple that I like it a lot on her smile... the rest is great: her eyes, chin and nose is awesome like that

The Four Horsemen just tweeted that it was a quickie paint job to get her ready for Toy Fair and that tweaks are definitely being made.

No worries. Frosta will be a 10 after all.

I'm going to add another, perfect, to the long list. Eamon's version is the one we need! It worked for the Griffin's wings, hopefully they listen on this one too. She is such an important character to so many of us.

Hi all, well i admit i am not at all impressed with pop ladies so far, but that has much more to do with concept than execution.
I confess, up to a few days ago, i did not even have a clue about who frosta was. This being said...well, the toy looks...exactly like the toon. How can this be bad, in your eyes? If you like the toon frosta (to each his own

) then how can you not like the toy?
It looks...spot on to me.
Huh, perhaps i am missing something....

That is so comforting, I know they can make her look great (Eamon has set the bar pretty high with his Photoshop alteration though). I have waited a long time for this figure!

I don't know, the right one looks too polished, like all the character and expression has been taken out of the face. The prototype looks like a person to me, while the manipulation makes her into a doll (well, of course she is a doll, but you know what I mean).

EAMON - !!! That's a perfect, honestly perfect face for Frosta. If the one Mattel offers can't live up to that, then I'll pass on it.

This Frosta has OCTAVIA lips. Someone want to drag her into photoshop and make her green, just to see if I'm right?

Oh, last night (I think) I read a few people saying Frosta is coming with She-Ra's shield done up in an ice theme as her second accessory. While that is very awesome and I really would like one, I would rather have them put it in a Weapons Pak (no new tooling). I would rather have her small, snowflake wand from the Licensing Kit (which the Polly Pocket set got). Her big MOTUC staff and little wand could be interchangeable with the different fan "heads" (toy and Licensing Kit). If this doesn't come with Frosta, we will never see it in MOTUC. Her shield can be put in ANY Weapons Pak since it's not a new sculpt. At the very least...if the snowflake wand can be held by a MOTUC lady, I would like to see it with Frosta or in a Weapons Pak.

I'm glad to hear from the Four Horsemen that Frosta is still being tweaked.

I hope the "tweaks" might extend to some "toy detailed" gauntlets as well as another attempt at the facial paint application, but even if Frosta doesn't get the "toy detailed" gauntlets, it's still a great looking figure (assuming the face is improved to the 4H's usual standard).

I much prefer the smaller snowflake wand as well. The current "weapon" is incredibly over-sized and seems far too big for Frosta (or any MOTUC character).

Oh who said that?! Now that's stupid! He can ruin MOTUC and the other lines by other means!
