During my absence from the forum, I've given lots of thought to the future sales for BATTLE CAT, which I believe is a given that he will sell out in spades.
Since Mattel is waiting to see how that goes before doing other "large scale beasts", I'm wondering if they are questioning the development of Swift Wind for the new line.
Do you think Swift Wind will be a good "large scale beast" to develop for MOTUC? If so, why?
Considering that his price tag would be comparable with Battle Cat, how many would you buy?

It makes me chuckle a little when Matty is waiting to see how sales of BC will do before the consider other larger beasts. I can tell you now.. as I am sure we all here know.. that BC will sell out fast!
I myself would buy Swift Wind in a flash! He would look great with She-Ra! After he is done.. his mold could be used to make Bow's Horse as well.
I learned a fun fact about Swift Wind from a She-Ra Dvd. He was not able to talk to She-Ra until the very first time he transformed to Swift Wind. After that he was from then on able to speak to her in both his regular horse form... and Unicorn form.
Only if he's white. It has nothing to do with pink looking too girly, I mean hell, I have a small Barbie MIB collection. It's just that to me, he's not Swifty if he's pink. It would be like having Clawdeen a color OTHER then pink.
But, I never had the toy as a kid(dad forbid it), so that's why I just can't see him any other color I guess.

After battlecat, Swift wind is the beast I want the most. I really do want him in cartoon colors but im not sure if they are allowed for this line yet. I would buy him either way though cause I want him even more than Panthor. Oh and I really do want a Stridor too and mabey a modified Swifty sculpt would work for him.
I would regardless if he is white or pink. She-Ra needs her steed. I just hope that he will have a way to have his wings fold up to the side of his body.

I'd have to see it first like all the POP or NA figures they make. The only POP toy I plan on buying at this time is She Ra. Any POP or NA toys they make will have to draw me in otherwise I am just buying MOTU and that is it.
IF Swift Wind was white, I'd consider it.
Definitely not interested if it was pink (although two versions in both pink and white would make sense).

Definitely would pick up several if they made him. It doesn't make a difference to me if he looks like the cartoon or the toy.
There's so much reuse potential there. Catra has Storm, Bow has Arrow, Sweet Bee has Crystal Sun Dancer, Peekablue has Crystal Moonbeam... hell they could even do a cool translucent one for The Goddess. ALL the gals could have steeds!

you know, I'm really not sure I would. I have little loyalty to POP as a toyline, I'd most likely buy all the POP girls, bow is a coin toss but larger scale pop stuff, I don't know. I'd LIKELY buy swifty for she-ra's sake but that's it for POP large scale stuff. still I'm undecided leaning in favour of yes but only slightly

I've always wanted a Swift Wind but would want him in the colors of the cartoon. Not the gold and pink version of the toy.
