Great stuff as always, joseephus! And I have to say, that once again you have driven home my thinking that Classics is the best MOTU line ever! I loved the vintage stuff, adored 200X (and hope for great deals of influence from it in many characters for Classics!), but MOTUC is just the best (IMO, of course).
Not to sound like a creepy cheerleader for Uki, but it's nice to know there is at least one person on this forum who is extremely positive & friendly all the time. I don't think I could be that nice even if you paid me. If we ever give out awards for "forum member of the month", Uki gets my vote. -Mr. Shokoti

I think the MOTUC version is the best...it perfectly captures the nostalgia of the vintage figure, while updating the character with the strength and nobility of the 200X version.
I agree. Many made fun of this, and for months complained that he'd be the first figure they didn't buy. He looks great, and is both regal and fits with the 80's style. I don't care for the barbarian warrior-king look of the 200x versions.Originally Posted by Skeletortilla

I like the one on the left's "reimagining," but I'm a Classics guy. I'm here for noastalgia so I like the MOTUC one.

MOTUC Most Wanted: Skeletor's Robot Knights, Two-Bad, Horde Troopers, Modulok, Sssqueeze, Tung Lashor, Stridor, Night Stalker, the Battle Ram, and a true, alternate head for Wun-Dar (since he's a "different" character)!
The classic colours Staction (with the furry cape) will always be my favourite. It's one of only three 'toys' on display in our bedroom, too (it's one that my wife actually likes.)

I agree. Even though I am a 200x fan, I've thought every MOTUC figure has been better than the 200x figure or staction incarnation. In this instance though, I'm going to have to say the staction prevails.

No. These threads are something I do for every figure that has come out, and it was never intended to be a poll. It is somewhere you can post why one of these figures is your favorite, whether it be a childhood memory or for whatever other reason. It is not a poll of what one you think is the best and we tally up the numbers, but is a thread where you can post why you may prefer one over the other and give a story too if you wish.

Best figure is MOTUC because...come on.
Design/best looking...that's between SDCC Randor and MOTUC. I'm going to say the Staction. More realistic, he's ridiculously handsome and doesn't resemble any fast food mascots. lol
WHEN they make a 200X Randor, he needs a new head and MAYBE could use Battle Armour He-Man's armour? Kind of close. Either way...they MUST make a 200X MOTUC figure!

MOTUC Randor is my favorite. I do like the 200X look but a figure is always going to win out with me over a statue.
