1. We know Mattel has the rights to the MYP cartoon
2. We now have King Randor in our hands (well, some of us)
3. We know the MYP King Randor looks nothing like the King Randor that we have.
4. We also know that elements of the MYP King Randor has not been merged with the King Randor that we have (like what they did with Webstor)
Do you think we'll get a MYP King Randor, either as a bonus or a regular fig? Do you think he'll be a repaint or will he have a whole new head sculpt and new armor? Would you buy a MYP King Randor (bearing in mind that Mattel may only be able to make a MYP Marlena since they may not have the rights to Filmation Marlena)?
Edit: I'm happy with the King Randor that we have. I'm just wondering what the rest of the fandom, particularly the 200x-heads feel.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Captain Randor. but I don't know they could justify releasing two King Randors. Or if they wanted to be slick they could release a King Miro who looked like 200X Randor.
Either way, I hate my Randor figure and would jump at the chance of getting one with pants.

I definitely support a 200X Randor. I wonder if Randor has the bum knee in Classics or is he not wearing his brace when he wears the classic costume.
Didn't Toyguru mention 200X Randor once in a QnA? Like that it was a possibly in the long run of the line? I think they could make a nice 200X Randor with a retooled Crown, new 200X Armor & Cape, and new paint. I don't think it'd even cost Mattel all that much to do it as a bonus in 2011 or 2012 either.

King Randor is one of those characters whose 200X design was much cooler than the original design. I'd be all for a 200X version of him.

I was disappointed with the Randor figure that was shown (and on it's way to me), as I would have preferred 200X. I really hope he comes under the characters that looks are so different they will get a 2nd figure

I honestly don't care if we get a MYP/200X King Randor. I would, of course, buy it if he came out, but he's low on my list.

The original King Randor was probably my absolute least favorite figure in toy and cartoon form whereas the MYP King Randor was probably one of my favorite characters. I would eagerly jump at the chance to own Captain Randor, King Randor, and King Randor w/Snake Armor.
Kronis lower right leg would work.
Maybe King Grayskulls cape? That could actually go from father to son.
I feel the face should remain the same for continuity sake. 200X crown would be awesome

YES. I totally want a 200X Randor, and I'd love it if they called him Captain Randor. It would be a great way to get out the 200X version, but pass him off as his time as a Captain. New armor, new head, the sheild, and the same sword King Randor has, and I think we'd be set. I'd be happy anyway! If they wana go further and make a new right leg (or use Trap-Jaw's) then that would be cool too. 200X Randor is completely different and would make a GREAT Captain Randor figure. He'll be especially awesome if they ever make a Keldor for him to fight!

I want all the character in classic and 200x form so put me down for a Captain Randor, the Filmation Randor, 200x King Randor. I'd but them all. And I LOVE the MOTUC figure we got.
I'd like a 200X Randor to be done as the younger Captain Randor so I can have him standing with the clean shaven MAA. I love the idea of MOTUC having characters from different time periods, and more from the Great Unrest period would be most welcome.
But wouldn't he be a bonus, therefore only taking the slot of a Spin Blade figure?

I would be really jazzed about a 200X King Randor! He was way cooler in style, face, etc.
I really do like the MOTUC King Randor, too. I just dislike that his legs are orange. I wish they had gone another way with the color of his leggings. I felt that that was a tremendous flaw in the original design and was disappointed to see it repeated here.
While some would gather an angry mob, I'd be all for 200X versions of the top tier characters! King Randor and Adam are tops on my list!

An MYP style Randor would be great. King Miro would also be good... they could use the MYP Randor armor for him too, but in different colors. The fur from King Grayskull's cape would work well, but I would want to see it on a new cape that wasn't "tattered" looking.

This idea may fek some off, but its a thought that came to me. Captain Randor..sporting Battle Armour He-mans armour w/ a new plate?
If we assume that myp randor was to be a bonus figure and hence be light on the custom scupted parts..it would make a bit of sense. I know you could give him the existing randor armour but if ya want to differentiate the past and future kings..
i past on Randor in Dec. because i'm hoping they make a 200x version.
