As Eldor could be one of the two SDCC Exclusive, what are your speculations about the guardian of the book of living spells ?
- -> I hope the book will have Holograms inside (as it was announced in the 1987 Mattel catalog )
- -> The Head could be a re-use of King Randor and the body could be re-used for a count marzo.

I really think he needs jazzing up. The original figure looks so bland and terribly boring. I wouldn't want him to be unrecognisable as Eldor, but a few extra details and such would make him really stand out.
A holographic book would be awesome, plus some other bio related accessories that tie him to He-ro.

Same here! I love the style, but some details here and there would make this guy pop. I'll also throw in my vote for this year's exclusive; he's pretty cool!

I always thought Eldor could be a nice choice for the next exclusive since it would follow a trend. I mean with Grayskull, He-Ro was mentioned in his bio. So it lead us to believe that He-Ro was a possiblity! Now Eldor was mentioned in He-Ro's bio. So could he be next? That's what I'm hoping! But then again, They did say that there was 2 MOTUC exclusive this time at SDCC? What if it's a He-Man and Superman 2 pack? Superman could be the celebrity!

Not overly crazy about Eldor from what I've been able to find on this site but done right by the 4H and he'll end up in my collection. Plus being outside the US not likely to ever get to the big Con seeing what's out at the SDCC is more painful then anything.
I like the oversized book from the original proto (Its his unique accesory and no other character have a weapon like this).
I hope it gets several holograms / pictures inside.
Also hope the book have a stand to make it the effect of a flying book.

I truly hope we'll get Eldor soon ! Another important character that was never released, and he could be done pretty easily.
His legs/boots could be reused for Snout Spout.
I don't want his face to look like Randor's, though. And a book with holograms would be cool, in my opinion...
Eldor would amazing, it's a very nice figure and I have no doubt that the 4HM can update him to look fantastic!
And besides the accessory hologram book, he could came with a real book, with all the motu history or eternia secrets or a mini-comics collection or something else like thisl!!

Why does every line have exclusive figures anyhow(or numerous), makes it IMPOSSIBLE for collectors' such as myself to complete the line! Even readily available pieces are such a pain with the price at times...
He-Ro is one of the cheapest MOTUC figures on eBay right now. As long as Mattel makes future exclusives in similar numbers, we'll be alright. And King Grayskull is coming back in 2010 so anyone that missed out doesn't need to pay eBay prices.

The fact is that on the prototype, the belt isn't detailed enough to make such an affirmation IMO.
I'm really hoping for Eldor as the next SDCC exclusive but i dont think he will. Its too obvious of a choice.

When did TG talk about the SDCC exclusives (IE there being two of them, and one being a "celebrity"? Can someone put a link to that thread or article or whatever? Thanks.
Also, I more or less assume that Eldor will be the SDCC exclusive, so while I do want the figure I'd be more excited if we learned it was something totally unexpected.
