I just don't understand how some expect Mattel to produce a modern version of something they didn't create. Unless I'm wrong, I don't want some pirated and amalgamated character in my collection.

Khamo Khan ("Cobra Khan Camuflado" actually) is an alternate/repaint version that Top Toys has released at the end of the line in Argentina. It could have been just a lame semi-pro custom unless that it included the silver Snakemen logo in his chest. Sometime ago someone paid $400 in Ebay for one and since then it's been hunted by collectors around the world and its price has rocketed if found in good conditions.
Personally, I'd love to have a Khamo Khan released since it's been created in my country, so I'd feel sort of proud (in the same way as with G.I.Joe Cobra Invasor & Manleh among other Joe exclusives) and it'd be awesome if it has some reference like Eternian Pampas or that He-Ro defeated him with the help of Gau-Cho.

I think some people need to do a spot of researching before they completely dismiss the idea.
Not sure on it's release, personally I would love it. Probably better suited for a suscription figure rather than an official monthly release. Just like Wun-Dar who has also teased collectors for an eternity. As a collector it's always been a dream to own Camo Khan this would probably be my only chance to get him. I'd rather crawl before I walk though and settle for a regular Kobra Khan.
I'd be down for this but never liked the Leo Faker. I would prefer a magenta armor Faker, but yes to Kamo Khan.

If it's going to be labeled a Kobra Khan variant, I want it NEVER.
If they want to do it, make it a separate character. Maybe a general snakeman as an army builder.
I'd like to see Kamo Khan as a seperate character from Khan with a new bio and released as a bonus figure. Much like Zodak was.

I never knew about Kamo Khan until a few days ago when I read about him here at He-Man.org.
I did a bit of research so I could update Vaults and post some information on the variants page.

I'd love to see Kamo Khan as an ancient relative of Kobra Khan from the Preternia period.
It always bothered me seeing Khan in the PoG comic as a kid, since he was from modern day Eternia, but I could live with the Khan from that comic being Kamo Khan.

What do you folks think about having Camo Kobra Khan as separate character from Kobra Khan when he's released instead of as a variant of the same guy.
I was thinking Camo Kobra Khan, called Kamo Khan could be a distant relative of Kobra Khan and part of the old clan of Snakemen alongside King Hsss and the rest.
That would explain why the Khan's look the same, as they are related and it would add one more to the snake's ranks.
Kamo would be a Snakeman and Kobra would be an Evil Warrior spying on the snakes for Skeletor. Kobra Khan could have a second head with his hood out while Kamo wouldn't have such a second head to further differentiate them.
Kobra Khan's one of my favorite bad guys and I want him regardless.

Not really feeling the bootleg looking figure, but if they do indeed make him I want him to be a separate character. Hopefully if they make him they give him a unique head sculpt.
To tie the figure into the new line, I would say that it is a temporary mutation caused by eating AMBROSIA. I think that is a good way to link it back to Buzz-Off, as it could explain Kamo Khan's claw hands. We saw that eating ambrosia mutated Webstor in the MYP cartoon, so it could be the same thing happened to Kobra Khan.

Hm...well, he's certainly one of the more interesting oddball variants out there. If they did make him, I'd hope they would use thier imaginations and improve upon the original paint scheme. I really like it, but the camo is basically just on the torso. I'd like to see the scheme all over the figure (well, on the skin parts anyway). He could really be a stunning figure with some more thought put into the paint apps.
As for character...as usual, I don't care what they do. I'm gona use him as another character, so of course I agree with those that say he should be someone else. Nonetheless, they could make him a variant of Khan and I'd still use him as someone else.

I always thought Camo Khan looked horrible but if the 4H make him look alright and he is a seperate character to build up the Snake men ranks and explain why their was a Khan looking Snake man back in Preternia in the minicomic then I might buy him.

Kobra Khan Camuflado is on my "Wishlist" since very long time.... I've asked ToyGuru last year in Ask Matty and he was already open for him!
However I know very well the vintage one and there are some fakes.
The real one is green/dark green/gold and has the Buzz-off claws.
For the weapon it seems that there are two differents.... Green Clawful or Brown Buzz off weapon.
All other are fake
For example, there is one with gold suspenders... this is not the real one.

I actually want Camo Khan and Kobra Khan to be the same character. There's always been debate about the character's loyalties. They could have him working for Skeletor, but secretly working on a Snake Man agenda, have him join King Hiss, but then have second thoughts, try to rejoin Skeletor, get caught, and then have King Hiss do something to him (hence the change in appearance, and the addition of the Snake Men symbol) to make him a completely loyal Snake Man. Character evolution is something I enjoy, and I think having two versions of the same character is a great way to achieve this. It's why I like battleground Teela, and would support a teenage (200X) version of Prince Adam as well.

I do not want a Kamo Khan/Kobra Khan Camuflado. Same counts for Dark Blue Skeletor & Black Grizzlor. I personally really dislike these repaints but if they are released in MOTUC, I can always sell the ones I dislike. Leo Faker is the only one that I semi-like, but I don't even want him badly enough.
