    Tung Lashor

How will Tung Lashor be done? Will he feature the action feature or have swappable heads?

There won't be any action figure for sure.

About the extra head, maybe... that could be a solution but I doubt there will be one IMO.

I think Tung Lashor will have a long tongue in a very soft plastic.

Really looking forward to the Snake Men. Hoping they have that classic Snake Men logo on them like back in the day. I love all of the villain groups in MOTU/POP, Horde, Skeletor's guys, Snake Men, even the loner villains. <3 bad guys.

Or probably he'll come with an extra long alternate tounge attachment...

I dont think he will have his tounge feature with the retracting tounge. This counts as a "mechanical action feature" that has been stated by Mattel that wont happen.

Having said that I am the first to admit that this area is grey, and I guess we won't know for sure until we see pics or get an official comment.

    My guess, two heads.

Yeah, only one head, but "Swappable" tounge!. Easy enough I'll wager.

I would just like one long flexible tongue (a bit like the rubber on the Mr fantastic pack in figure that came with Thing)

I'm just glad to know this character will be back to his 80's roots! 200X so missed the mark for me on this one!
I just published my very first ebook: Malediction! A short story of monsters and magic!
Buy it now on Amazon or Barnes and Noble!

    Print version, also available!

80's Tung Lashor is one of my all time favorites, and I truly hope he will be made as close as possible to the 80's toy !

I would have really loved him to have his retractable tongue, but alas, Mattel doesn't want to hear a thing about action features...

Anyway, I really want them to make him as perfect as possible. A lot of love should be put in that figure...

Tung Lashor would be an easy figure to make and i hope the first snake man.
    Standard Male Buck body.
New armor similar to 200x statue
    Hordak gloves with new hands
Would need new lower legs and feet
Two head: One with long tongue and one without.

I'm just hoping that they make him similar to the 200x version.

Well, the fact is we already know they won't ! And personally, I'm happy with this, since I prefer the 80's version.

    So, why won't they ? 2 reasons :

    1) 200x Tung Lashor was bigger and bulkier (same for the NECA staction). We know that all MOTUC figures will share the same height. So clearly, they can't make him bigger than other characters, which prevents the 200x style.

    2) It has been stated many times (and once more lately) that the 4 Horsemen take their inspiration in the 80's original line. So I think it's pretty obvious that we should get a 80's based Tung Lashor !

About the 200x iunfluence, we'll see it in some accessories, and maybe for some characters (200x Adam, for instance)...

He doesn't even need two heads.

Give the figure a moveable mouth, so when its open ou can slot in the tongue.

In the 200x cartoon his jaws split which I thought looked cool, so that would make it easier.

Opening mouth with attachable tongue? Cool!
Not to sound like a creepy cheerleader for Uki, but it's nice to know there is at least one person on this forum who is extremely positive & friendly all the time. I don't think I could be that nice even if you paid me. If we ever give out awards for "forum member of the month", Uki gets my vote. -Mr. Shokoti

Me too! Although the staction really is impressive.
I'm curious how they will make his black amfibian fingers.
(Or how do you call those?)

Even though that would be pretty cool, it would probably be cheaper to just cast a separate head with a soft tongue permanently attached. Everything in this line is about budgeting, and going this route would make the figure more cost effective and allow for more accessories.

I agree, but I think I would prefer if they used a different male buck sculpt. The design on the original torso is unique, and I would feel a little short changed if they used the standard version. We have been promised at least a few unique sculpts each year. MAttel can splash out on this one! He rocks

a mouth that opens or a slit in the mouth to alow a tounge attachment. tounge attachment can snap into the mouth. would be good to have the tounge similar to the 80s type, but with a hard plastic at its base so it can attach in place in the mouth. if that make sense.

another idea is to have a short tounge & a extra long alternate tounge attachment that fits over the shorter tounge like a sheath.

I'll be completely satisfied with a Tung Lashor figure, whether or not if he has two heads or just the one. I think the removable tongue might be a good idea if they can't do two heads, though (much like the SW Jabba the Hutt had back in '04).
