nope. $20 is more than enough for an action figure.
Here is one of the most recent Q&A from ToyGuru on Mattycollector.com
Laser Power He-Man/Laser Light Skeletor
I don't know if these have even been discussed by the design team, but is it possible for these figures to have their original light upfeatures?
Maybe. But that might put them over cost for a basic figure. No plans for them right now, but our long term plan is to get to all the vintage figures in time. We can't confirm anything past King Hssss for now.
Hearing that answer, would you pay a little extra to have Laser Power He-man and Laser Light Skeletor light up?

nope. $20 is more than enough for an action figure.
Not only would I not pay more, I probably wouldn't buy them at all. I have no interest in toys that light up, regardless of whether or not that would result in limiting articulation or interrupting sculpt (the former of which it would almost certainly do).
I'd -probably- buy LL He-Man and Skelly. But if they actually light up, they'd be a total pass for me.
No, I don`t pay something more for them.
I´m not a fan of figures that light up
Last unannounced faves: Two Bad, Tung Lashor, Squeeze, Modulok, Horde Trooper, Blast Attack
I think Laser Skelly should be a 2-in-1 figure with NA Skelly, not really worth having two separate releases IMO.
But no thanks, no light-up features for me.
I honestly can't think of a single example where I'd be willing to pay extra for action features.
I'd get Laser He-Man if he has the He-Mullet, but Laser Skeletor is far too close to NA Skeletor for my liking.
I would pay more for the light-up features. Not a lot more, but really to me the light-up feature is what these figures are about.
I'd also pay a good amount for a re-release of the originals, considering how expensive the figures are now.

No. I don't want yet another He-Man/Skeletor variant.
The MSRP of $20 was designed for when the line was selling 7500-10k units, and by most estimates that's increased by at least 50%. I don't have a problem with Mattel turning a nice profit, but I'm not interesed in paying extra to add something to the regular figures.

Yes, for the light up figures, I would!
Xbox Gamer tag: Darkbanshe
Wish list: New Adventures toys loose or carded toys, SDCC color change orko, Masters of the universe magazines, grayskull stands, weapons pack one, 200x battle cat and panthor, vintage castle grayskull, snake moutain, and vintage vehicles.
How much more are we talking about? I'd go $5.00 more but after that it's a little too pricey. As a compromise maybe they could limit articulation a little to add the light up feature. I would like to see this feature though.
Master of Mayhem
Absolutely not. Most other toy lines don't charge extra for such things, MOTUC shouldn't either. 95% of these would use existing tooling, anyway.
No. These variants don't really interest me all that much in the first place.![]()
I'm hoping for a Disco Skeletor for the next subscription exclusive! Fully flocked!
"I don't like to feel good! I like to feel EVIL!"
I guess I would if you forced me but I don't really want to. After Battle Armor He-Man came without his action feature (my favorite feature of the Masters line), I'm pretty good without any of the other action features.
Wow.....Mattel is pulling out the, "we'll need more money" tactic. Sorry, but keep your laser lights if that is the case. I have some X-Men figures that had light up features with their weapons in hand, and I don't remember paying extra for them.
$20 for a figure without dealing with a retailer is expensive enough. And if if costs so much more with a small production run, I can name some quick sellouts that required larger production.![]()
Keep The "Classicized" 200x Heads in MOTUC!
Matty Savings For the Year because of No DOS Purchases: $173
In a word, NO.
They have buck re-use and head re-use. Laser lights are inexpensive, and the figure costs $20. They can figure it out.
Etherian Rebel JOSH for the MOTUC (see my avatar)!
No... And don't give them ideas!

No, no and no.
Jitsu should have had his 200X belt!!!
You know I want everything ... but I don't want no cyborg-Skeletor whether he lights up or not so no I wouldn't want to pay extra!
Sadly, I'm an all in subscriber and will continue to be so if Mattel make him, I'll be lumped with this wired-up abomination!
It would be ... interesting ...to see what bio-explanation could be used to justify laser He-Man carrying that massive backpack!

I'm with most of the people in this thread, no.
In the Revoltech line of Hokuto no Ken action figures, there is one particular character named Falco. Guess what? He lights up! Does Kaiyodo charge more for him because of this? NO!
And I'm with Grange on this one, don't give Mattel any wild ideas. Otherwise we'll be charged extra for Scare Glow's re-issue due to his "glow in the dark" feature.......
