MotUC Hurricane / Buzz Saw Hordak speculation

I would be okay with Uncle Jake's idea. Honestly, I don't care if we don't get a Filmation style Hordak, though I'd happily take one if offered.

My choice would be to skip Buzz Saw altogether, and make a blue Hordak in a DC vs. pack.

Personally, I'd rather they just skip "Buzz Saw" altogether, and just do style-guide Hordak as a new variation.

That way all tooling costs go to making SG Hordak the best it can be (different interchangable arms maybe?), and not be wasted on saw/cog attachments that do not pertain to SG Hordak.

Right now, they don't own Filmation Hordak. They can apparently do styleguide Hordak, which is visually identical to FH but which doesn't show any of Hordak's characteristic transformations from the show (shy of a brief reference in the bio to the "Hurricane" rotary weapons).

1) Hurricane Hordak has a specific look, distinct from OriginalToy-Hordak and Filmation-Hordak (unlike Buzzsaw Hordak, which is virtually identical to OGT-Hordak)
2) The "Hurricane" weapons bear no stylistic resemblance to his transformations from the show (never mind him actively using the "Hurricane" weapons as transformations)
3) They're doing Hurricane Hordak, and have made no attempt to work in any Filmation-like visual touches in either head design or colour scheme.

I think I'd be happy with just a blue Hordak and no Buzz Saw Hordak. Unless he has a working buzz saw action-feature like the original, I just don't see a point in making him.

The Buzz Saw would be a nice accessory, or they can create a new variant "Horde Battle Armour," but I think Buzz Saw Hordak can't be made since they aren't doing action features.

I DO want a Blue Hordak though...like the Style Guide...

I am thinking buzz saw Hordak would be a great opportunity for a variant done in filmation colors with some cool new accessories. They can't not make a variant but they also can't go ahead with BSH because he's pointless. They have to come up with an alternate look for him (Filmation!) while calling him BSH.

Just thinking today... what if Buzz Saw Hordak was more in tuned to Battle Armor hordak and came with swapable damaged armor but also when removed created the hole for the buzz saws??? thoughts?

Not sure what they plan to do, because for one I am curious to see how they work Rio Blast in, since you know, there are no gimmicks in MOTUC, and B Hordak & Rio Blast are made around pure gimmicks.

I honestly only want one More Hordak aside from Hurricane Hordak, and that's Filmation Hordak....Buzzsaw will be lame unless he's done right, but he will not be, unless like Roboto, he gets a one piece torso.

I would be more than fine if we didn't get this figure and just got new variants instead. HH is often spoken of poorly and his useless knob on his back could've easily been skipped. Without their gimmicks some of the variants are not as useful. I lile the idea of Horde Armor for him or maybe some specialized SnakeMen battling get-up.

I can definitely do without a boring vintage Buzzsaw Hordak in Classics, but a Filmation/Style Guide Hordak is a must for me to have. I'm a huge fan of the Horde and thinking we may get one more variant of him, I'd want it to be the iconic blue version. A Buzzsaw hand attachment would be a cool accessory to give him as a special nod to the vintage variant.

Rio Blast - I'd give him an extra armor attachment resembling TP He-Man's backpack be placed in the front of his chest and the gun accessory can then plug into the opening of the "front pack" mimicking the gimmick. With clip on hand and leg gun attachments would be a great way to go about making Rio Blast.

I know I'm in the minority here but I want a Buzz Saw Hordak BIG time. He was my favorite variant of the entire line as a kid. I have a lot of faith in the 4HM and I think they can come up with a fitting incarnation that looks amazing and yet doesn't need a working action feature.

I think that Filmation Hordak, or as I like to refer to him Battleground Hordak, should be like Emiliano's Vision (Version B) combined with Buzz-Saw Hordak. Before Hurricane Hordak came out I thought that they should have combined HH with BSH, but since we already have HH I think this new combo would do nicely. Especially because it could tie in to Hordak's transformation into more machine than man and can get two variants in one figure....
