    Monsteroids

What do we know about the Monsteroids. I know that they work for the Horde and they are the most powerful robots in the universe. But how many are there. I have found 8 so far. I Only have pics of the ones from the Day of the flowers, It seems there were seven in that episode, as seen in a group shot, and in the Christmas episode I counted 3 more which I need pics f
rom. Here they are in order.

    Group Shot

    Number 3, Number 1,Number 2

    Number 4

    Number 5

    Number 6

    Number 7

Number 8, the smaller one behind behind Number1

Thats all i could find from all the episodes but if you look at the group shot that accounts for all of them, 8 in total. So that solves that mystery!

Not for nothing, it's the Monstroids, no 'e'. They were in the He-Man and She-Ra Christmas Special as well as the episode Day of the Flowers. There's probably half a dozen or so of them and they have loose alternate forms. They aren't Horde members, they just worked with them on those occasions.

Actually, they worked against the Horde in the Xmas Special. I have no idea if the toy Monstroid is one of the Monstroids from the cartoon (I don't see why not) but in the Star Comic where he appears, Hordak has a hard time keeping him in control. Furthermore, at one point he is controlled by Skeletor. So, I would say they are an independent gang.

They are enemies of the cute little robots called the Manchines.

Weird...until they decide to make you go squish now.
I can imagine these fellows ravaging the whispering woods and one of those purple gnome like folks was running from one and suddenly....SQUISH!.....the annoyed Monstroid stops and walks over to a fallen log and scraps said gnome off his foot.

The one on the far left had the most HALF-ASSED transformation....all he/it did was do a Superman pose.

I do like that these guys were a pain in the ass for the Horse, as well as the Rebellion.

By the way, there were several other different Monstroids as well not pictured there.

Do you mean the twiggets? If I were a child I'd probably cry if I saw Spragg squished by a monstroid. Come to think of it, I'd probably cry as an adult! That would be utterly terrifying for anyone to witness! I like the little gnomes

Well, it would show how hardcore the Monstroids are. I'd picture She-ra comics being like that.

They look like Horde creations that have turned against the Horde. It might explain their vendetta against Horde Prime.

Ehhh....I think their origins are different. They are just one of those few races that have the balls to face Horde Prime...and I bet they could beat him, too.

I would've preferred to see the toy monstroid than those things. They always seemed like a bad attempt at the tranformers, maybe inserted in the story for those who played with she-ra to identify with their sibling's 'evil' transformable toys. Or maybe it was a totally independent idea, but still second-preference to an appearance from some of the series' multitude of regular characters or an appearance from a known character from the toyline.

It is said THE HORDE actually created the Monstroids which he tried to use to defeat the eternians, when the war had ended only four were left and all of them were lost and basically forgotten about! That was until Skeletor discovered the were abouts of Spidor, he fought for the control of it mentally for days until he finally dominated it, then a second was dicovered (Monstroid) the crab like one, Hordak and Skeletor both fought for the domination of this one and Hordak came out the final owner! As for the last 2 no more mention of them can be found! But what uccurs to me as some mistake, if what I say was true then when Hordak and the Evil Horde were sent into another dimension, where they start to attack Etheria, the Monstroids would not have been there at all, unless the records had gotten it wrong and the last of them got transported there as well, and then they started to pro-create themselves by mass producing themselves and the 2 on Eternia were left there becuase they had become dormant! In any event they were machanical creations that were magically brought to life as giant Golems of sorts!
