"We are going to play a game called Who is your daddy and what does he do." - Kindergarden Cop
That's the gist of this. Use this a place to campaign and share your love for your favorite characters.
So far we have these great visuals:
Visuals for poll 9
Visuals for poll 10
Visuals for poll 11
Visuals for poll 12
But I think the visuals only tell half the tale. I want a bit more information on who these characters are, so that I can make an informed decision on where I place people. So here is the list of characters from these 4 polls. Give me information on who they are. I'm looking for things like the Filmation episode/mini-comic they were in, are they good or evil, & what did they do in their appearance. I am NOT an expert on all things He-man so I'm wanting to fill in my knowledge. I'll keep editing this first post to include the added information.
I realize that some of the variants are self explanatory, but the more information the better. IMO.
This list is subject to change once the polls go live incase of an added/moved/deleted character.

Some good choices on here. I can't wait to vote!
Not to sound like a creepy cheerleader for Uki, but it's nice to know there is at least one person on this forum who is extremely positive & friendly all the time. I don't think I could be that nice even if you paid me. If we ever give out awards for "forum member of the month", Uki gets my vote. -Mr. Shokoti
On the blog page linked above, super fan James Eatock beautifully describes the Filmation episode "Not So Blind", which features a blind boy who goes on an adventure with He-Man and Ram Man to visit a cave filled with magical singing crystals. This has always been my favorite episode as it frames an important moral message about the social stigma surrounding people who are blind. The story is very unique in the series, focusing on only two primary characters and with no mention of Skeletor or any of the other villains we see in every other episode.
Loos is another great character choice to include with the Classics line's grouping of smaller figures, which is currently comprised of Cringer, Loo-Kee, Orko, Zoar and Screeech. I imagine Loos being packaged alongside a full-sized figure, along with his walking stick accessory and singing crystal accessory (which is very similar to the crystal Mer-Man delivered to Skeletor), a Ram Man head with eyes open (an alternative to the closed-eyed head, which oddly enough would work great displayed alongside Loos considering the cartoon episode's plot), and a blind He-Man head, which looks almost exactly like the head of Faker in the vintage cartoon! In the Classics storyline it would be fun for Unnamed One to at some point possess the child's body, adding more focus to UNO's character as an evil spirit. The singing crystal itself could be used as an important plot device, and the figure's body could be reused for other child characters in the MOTU universe. Vote for Loos in Poll#10 and show your support!
Appearance: Episode "Not So Blind" (He-Man and the Masters of the Universe DVD set, Season 2, Volume 2, Disc 1)
Quote: "Gee, Ram Man, where's your neck?"
Trivia: Loos was voiced by Lou Sheimer's daughter, Erika Sheimer! [Referenced from the unofficial cartoon guide written by James Eatock!]
the most importants of the "week 3":
Light Hope (column of light version - Filmation)
Magestra should need no introduction as she is featured in one of the Filmation cartoon's very first and most memorable episodes! Sneaky Evil-Lyn appeared out of thin air in the middle of the royal palace throne room posing as a magician wanting to perform magic tricks for King Randor. A few flurries of her Shaping Staff and Randor is whisked away to the dungeon without anyone noticing that the now ravenous king smells strangely beast-like. Luckily Orko the cricket is there to save the day!
Magestra is one of those Filmation characters that would be a perfect fit for the Classics line. She sports a classic outfit and a unique staff that is interestingly duplicated in the proposed design for the Great Black Wizard's design. Her look is far apart from the Evil-Lyn figure already translated to the line, which makes her a sort of half variant. No doubt there is plenty of room in the official MOTUC canon for another wizard character. Perhaps Magestra is Evil-Lyn's future form once she has traveled to the future to give birth to Skeleteen. I like to think this is the form she takes when strolling through the streets of the kingdom without any notice from the guards, which can come in handy when gathering information for Skeletor, or whoever else she happens to be plotting with at the time. She could also be seen as an entirely different character! Lots of fun possibilities with this figure. Let's bring her to Classics!
Vote for Magestra in Poll #11 of the official He-Man.org 2016 character polling season and show your support!
Appearance: Episode 3 "The Shaping Staff" (He-Man & the Masters of the Universe DVD set, Volume 1, Disc 1)
Quote: Man-At-Arms: "That's no demon!", Prince Adam: "You can say that again!"
Trivia: Writer Paul Dini specified Magestra should have white hair. It's later discovered that the real Evil-Lyn also has white hair. [Referenced from the unofficial cartoon guide written by James Eatock!].
Cloak & Dagger Evil-Lyn (200x cartoon) - Evil Character
We have to get this before the line dies. Using Battleground Evil-Lyn as a base, it can finally give us Evil-Lyn's 200X leotard that she should have had for her Battleground figure. The Snow Cloak is just a bonus.
THIS Evil-Lyn. This is the time where she teamed up with Rattlor and Kobra Khan to get Zodak's staff to free King Hsss. In canon with the bios and well known to fans.
I propose that this "Snake Men Alliance Evil-Lyn" is similar to She-Ra 2.0, a totally optional non-sub figure where getting both versions makes the ULTIMATE 200X Evil-Lyn figure. Snake Men Alliance Evil-Lyn would be the exact same figure as Battleground Evil-Lyn 1.0, but would have these differences:
• Removable Snow Cloak (instead of Filmation Cloak)
• Snow Cloak Hood alternate head (instead of Unhelmeted Head)
• 200X PURPLE leotard and skirt with waist swivel which matches the Faceless One (instead of the Teela leotard parts re-use) like the picture below:
• Optional Accessories: MVC's Shard of Darkness instead of Knife
Otherwise it could come with the same helmeted Evil-Lyn head, same knife and same staff. To get her unhelmeted head, fans would still need to get Battleground Evil-Lyn.
This future variant preserves all the good stuff that Battleground Evil-Lyn brought to the table while bringing us something new (and in CANON) to the table. Instead of fighting the fans of Battleground Evil-Lyn, Toyguru and the Four Horsemen, why not create an optional non-sub variant that works along with them?

I see 200X Evilseed, 200X Hawke, Three Beast, Ra Jar, and The Horde Mummy being the most important
I'd also like Cloak and Dagger Evil Lyn and 200X Battle Armor Randor, but with multiple versions of both out and BG Lyn being similar to 200X Lyn I don't see these coming. There a couple others I'd be interested in, but many more I don't have any interest at all in.
Thanks for the information and campaigning AC & MGM!
I think 2016 could be one of the greatest years in MOTUC (if we can get people to buy in), simply because it can be a 4H field day and they can let their sculpting imaginations run a little wild.
when are the next voting rounds supposed to start?

Zanthor was introduced to us in the vintage Filmation episode "Golden Disks of Knowledge". At Castle Grayskull the Sorceress is disturbed by strange images. He-Man, Battle Cat and Orko discover Zanthor is responsible, a criminal banished to the Phantom Zone. Zodac, attempts to pass judgement on Zanthor, but He-Man decides that if Zanthor truly does want to make amends, then he will accompany him on his mission. At Snake Mountain the heroes find the vault where the disks should be located, but they only find fake disks. Skeletor appears before them, and they are captured. As Zanthor escapes and claims the real disks, Skeletor temps Zanthor to do evil once more!
Zanthor has loads of potential in the Classics line! Imagine him packaged with an alternate head wearing a Zodac helmet in case you want to make a custom figure of him in Cosmic Enforcer mode. Maybe a build-a-figure Zodac chair piece? If I remember correctly Toyguru stated he wanted to get the Disks of Knowledge in the Classics line, and there's no better figure to include them with! I can imagine a limited chase version of the figure as well, one that is semi-translucent much like his ghostly image in the cartoon. A must have!

Quote: Skeletor is a constant threat to us because of the knowledge he gained from the Golden Disks! Because you betrayed us, Zanthor!" -Sorceress

Including the DC Comics version of Goddess in the newest poll presents an opportunity for MOTU fans to let Mattel know that we want a replacement in our collections for the Goddess figure we already received. Polls have shown that roughly a third of the Goddess figures already opened have damaged hips, necks and other parts as the result of a manufacturing error. The redesigned Goddess figure would give us a non-translucent version with a stylish snake staff, cape, and non-articulated abs. The figure could be designed in a way that we can easily swap the parts from our existing Goddess figure onto the new one to display her in classic mini comic form or with the new DC 52 look. Ideally it would be better to introduce her in the polls after the supporting comic book has already been released, so it's important MOTU fans vote for her now so that we can give her a proper comparison in the next round of voting when we've had a chance to see more of her. Issue #12 comes out 4/30. Follow the link below for a teaser!

We are introduced to Aremesh in the Filmation cartoon's first series episode "Return to Evil". Aremesh, an electroid from Orko's dimension, arrives at the Royal Palace to capture Orko (who Aramesh refers to as "Orko The Icon") and demanding a mysterious object from the Trollan, an object Orko knows to be the Dimension Sphere, which he has kept hidden inside Castle Grayskull. He-Man and Battle Cat confront the powerful evil robot who disappears with Orko, and arrives at Snake Mountain. Skeletor vows to help Aremesh obtain the Dimension Sphere in return for help in conquering Eternia. Skeletor orders He-Man to hand over the Dimension Sphere, or else he will unelash the electroid upon the Royal Palace!
From my childhood, Aremesh angerly moaning and pounding his fists against Skeletor's glass prison stuck out as one of the scariest scenes in the entire Filmation cartoon! This character could translate very well to a Filmation themed Classics figure. He already sports a colorful, simple, and toy-like robot design with a bright red cape, chest emblem, golden body, flat fingertips, and a stylish robot head. He would likely be packaged with a hover disk (which could be the same sculpt used with an eventual movie trooper release), and a redesigned Dimension Sphere for Orko to hide inside of Castle Grayskull. I can also see him paired wiht an energy blast accessory to attach to his hand. Aremesh is one of those characters that begs for a more fleshed out bio, as there appears to be no further mention of the electroids' or Dimension Sphere's history. Who is this mysterious foe from Orko's dimension? Why does he want the Dimension Sphere and why did his name sound familiar to Man-At-Arms and He-Man? An appearance in the Classics line could tell us more!

Count Marzo appeared in not one but three episodes from the Filmation cartoon!
"The Once and Future Duke"
He-Man and the Masters of the Unviverse DVD Set, Season 1, Volume 2, Disc 4
"In the Vine Jungle, Prince Adam and Cringer stumble across a young boy who looks like an old friend they once knew, but who appears not to have aged. The Sorceress informs Adam that Count Marzo has taken the Ring of Remembrance, the only thing able to restore David back to his rightful age. As Adam and Teela head out to locate the ring and save their friend they are unaware that Count Marzo is watching their every move and plotting their downfall.
"The Eternia Flower"
He-Man and the Masters of the Unviverse DVD Set, Season 2, Volume 2, Disk 2
Chad, his brother Jonno, and their pet Burble visit the Royal Palace, but within seconds of landing, Jonno flies off in the Wind Raider. His actions confuse Teela as he is to receive the "Boy of the Year" award from King Randor in tonight's celebrations, but Chad assures her that he will be back in time. Unknown to all, Jonno meets up with Count Marzo, who gives him the Black Nightmare, a black flower that acts as a drug. Jonno's addiction soon becomes clear to all those around him, as Count Marzo's grip on Eternia's youth tightens!
"Search for a Son"
He-Man and the Masters of the Unviverse DVD Set, Season 2, Volume 2, Disk 4
When a boy at the Royal Palace questions Mekaneck's occasional unhappiness, Man-At-Arms tells him how Mekaneck lost his son Phillip in a storm in the forest a long time ago. Unknown to all, Count Marzo saved Phillip and now uses the young boy's talents for playing the flute to distract, so that he can commit petty crimes. Count Marzo appears to Mekaneck and tells him to lead the King and Queen to him in exchange for his son! Mekaneck is torn between the love he has for his son, and loyalty to his King and Queen...
Count Marzo was the biggest independent evil-doer in the original Masters of the Universe cartoon! He used both magic and technology to foil his foes, including force fields, holograms, memory-robbing water, teleporting, a chimera who could howl to summon a colony of wolf bats, freezing mists and narcotic flowers! Personally, this character sticks out from my childhood because of a scene I felt was amazingly clever in "The Once and Future Duke" where Teela and He-Man drain a lake so they can search for a magic ring, only to find that Marzo had covered the lake bed with rings of all shapes and sizes! He is an easy choice for the Classics line, featuring a very retro/vintage design this is far apart from his 200x incarnation. Accessories could include a memory gas gun, dragon pet, Black Nightmare (aka Eternia Flower), a pair of wolf bats, an energy blast that attaches to his hand, the Ring of Remembrance, or a shield that looks like the one hanging in his throne room with an "M" on the front. Marzo's clever schemes and rich character would be a great benefit to the official Classics storyline, and I would love to see a character bio that played off of the "The Once and Future Duke" episode title by involving him in both the present-day timeline and future Son of He-Ro or NA timeline.

To add some spoice to this thread, for every Filmation character that Adult Collector does, I'll do a 200X/MYP character for a balance!
In MYP, Stratos' sister Hawke had her own distinct look instead of looking like Delora, but with different hair.
We see her in Sky War, where Skeletor pits the Avionians (Stratos' people) versus the Andreenids (Buzz Off's race).
