Not been here long (officially, although I lurk with the best of them) but it I have already seen a lot that makes me proud to be part of the boards - really great thing for Romadon to do - glad you got your Strobo RockinHard and that is an awesome collection you have right there.

I'm still jealous of those cases! I'm using shelves and have run out of wallspace in the living room (well space that my wife will allow me to use anyway lol)

A lot of work went in to it and I will likely do another one in about a year.

Now, fast-forward to the early-access sale day of Strobo. Like many, I missed the figure. I was pretty bummed. I thought I'd just have to wait until Powercon and hopefully have a trusted member here to pick me up one.

However, an unlikely member offered me a Strobo and I just received it today. I am quite happy about this.

The member didn't have to do this, but he did. I appreciate the notion, the thoughtfulness, and the appreciation for something I did for personal healing and for everyone else here to hopefully enjoy.

There are some good people here, outside of the clique(s) and those just here to cause trouble. He is clearly one of them, and reminds me that there are good-willing people in the world, in general, as he did this out of the kindness of his heart.

Thank you, Romadon. Much appreciated, good man.

    Thanks for the salute bro,

Again, im not alone when i say this, many of us really appreciated ur thread and all the hard work that went into it, and were all looking forward to a part II with some awesome updates on the rankings and exciting new pics of all the new kick@$$ MOTUC figures coming out.

where the heck is Castle grayskull gonna land within the rankings?
will Mantenna steal the #1 spot from Mer-man?
how will the filmation figures fare in the rankings?

cant wait to find out the answers to all these questions.

Yes, people get caught up in how it is smaller, but the thing is still going to dwarf the vintage castle.

They are sweet, but I will run out of room eventually. I can't imagine what I'll have to do when Grayskull comes, not to mention if Horde Troopers are coming.

I very much appreciate that, in that I always disliked how it was just kinda set into his flesh. It's subtle, so it's still matching his appearance, but it's there if you care about such things, which evidently I do.

With the recent reveal of the unused vintage Strobo cardback artwork I've been thinking about Strobo a lot. I don't think he was ever intended to be a cosmic enforcer, just another ally of He-Man's and heroic warrior. I believe the reuse of Zodac's head was not to show allegiance to the cosmic enforcers, but chosen because the mask's eyes are tinted (like sunglasses) so as to protect his eyes from his own light power. And I see a lot of lucha libre influences in his design. I would've liked him in the vintage line and I like him a lot in Classics.

Strobo is one of my favorite classics. Your take on him is very interesting...I never would have thought about it that way.

Oh man! Now I want those black Snakemen Horde Troopers!!! I wish the 30th Anniversary line would have been the next planned wave instead of new figures. (I'm not knocking what we got I like most of them).

It could have included Photog, Strobo, Horde Snake Trooper, two other figures, and a Contest winner.

I'm just hoping we get to see more unused cardbacks so we can learn more about this unknown wave. The Rattlor/Whiplash/Trap-Jaw hybrid is interesting, and I suspect the Fisto on He-Ro armor is Keldor. I wonder what other combos they had planned.

They are all over Facebook. They are easy to find if you Google them.
