    New mystery protypes..(Don't post illegal ToyFare scans!)

    Someone from Hong Kong got these mystery prototypes from He-Man and Skeletor with the new swords and shield ..
    Why this colors? Why golden swords?
    Are both from a mini-comic??
    German fans found the pictures on ebay.com. Someone from germany ask him and the seller said thats prototypes and no customs.

    I'm not really diggin the pink on He-Mans "belt"....but I am loving the plain yellow color of Skeletors skull and the deep black eye sockets! He-Mans shield is pretty cool too.

    If there is a 2-Pack...that would be pretty cool I guess. But, why? I mean...how is that really all that exclusive though?

    Yeah, are these from a comic? Mini-comic? Were there foreign bootlegs done in those colors? I hope the paint apps aren't final--if they are, I might buy it and switch the figures with a regular He-Man & Skeletor!

    Never seen anything in any media that would lead to this "themed" 2-Pack if that's what it indeed is. I like the gold swords. Maybe if this is for real they'll come with a mini-comic or some other cool new thing (like a story on the back of the box with some new information or something?) that would justify a repaint reissue (of 2 figures that have already been reissued) as this year's SDCC exclusive?

    lots of people have cast the sword... we have no reason to believe these are anything but custom figures.

    Also.. didn't toyguru already say it wasn't a two pack.

    People have been throwing out ideas ever since these accessories were shown at the art show. Some think it has something to do with the "Battle For Eternia" board game (which came with yellow swords). Others feel it has to do with NA He-Man, because He-Man is shown with a regular yellow power sword in one of the comics.

    Dunno about the shield and why Skeletor would come with that sword though.

    OH, a comic pack? Awesome! Man, I never thought that would be the route they'd take to get these in stores, but I like it! Little odd for the line to see TRU with a strangly colored He-Man, but he's still close enough to alert new fans and get more people on board. Good idea!

    Well, take it with a grain of salt because it's Toyfare, and it is the April issue. On the other hand, they went to the effort of doing a pretty damn good mock-up for an April Fool's joke. I would assume we'll find out 100% for sure when news from Toy Fair comes out this weekend.

    In the comic the sword is never golden, but it has a golden/lightning glow all around it.

    The paintjob on Skeletors face is atrocious! Every single vintage Skele had the awesome green detailing!

    Also the 'Jewel' in his chest piece is the same mettalic color as the bones, where the original figure was a purple color!
    I may just be a Gay Pop fan...but I am also the one who wants ALL of the Figures, who wants this line to continue and who is putting my money where my mouth is....are you doing the same?
