Page 15 & 16:

Zodac is facing the all powerfull Skeletor!
How could even the cosmic enforcer ascape the lord of destruction now that he has his half of the power sword back in his hand?

Finally! He-man and Skeletor cross swords locked in mortal combat!
But this is the early canon, here He-man is a barbarian who's more used to battle axes and spears, while Skeletor is a master swordsman!

Page 17 & 18:

Here Skeletor makes his characteristic dramatic exit, with the cloud of smoke and smell of sulfur (I guess).
He-man and Zodac are too much to risk the already taken half of the sword.
His goal is achieved, the sword is back on Eternia and the game is restarted.

He-man and Zodac are back to the cavern, one half of the sword is rescued but this victory has a bitter taste...

Page 19 & 20:

Finally the heroes go to castle Grayskull.
The proportion of the castle are taken directly from the Alcala pics, the spirit too is pratically copyied by his in "king of castle Grayskull".

Here the Sorceress put the sword in a vault inside the castle, where it belongs since it was already there in the first minicomic.
The concept of the jawbridge that opens only with the whole sword, but half sword is already inside, comes from the DC comics miniseries and from some comics published in Italy when I was a child.

And finally, that's how and why Tee-la gets and wears the cobra armor.
I understand the "two characters in one figures" teory, but I always used one as Tee-la and another(customized) as the Sorceress.
And an explanation was needed as in the fourth minicomic Tee-la has her own cobra armor.

He is the ultimate evil made in flesh, he's powerfull, ruthless and cunning.And now he's triumphant.
After all he's the lord of all evil, right? So this time he's the winner and I feel some devious pleasure drawing him this way, but it also feels right BWAH AH AH AH AH AH...

And here's, to have a whole work, the back cover.
For who know how to use photoshop I just say: I don't, so be patient with me, I just used my own hands.
My goal is achieved, Zodac made his appearence in a "vintage" minicomic, Tee-la gets her own cobra armor, and Skeletor have back his power sword. I'm happy.
And eight again.

This work, all of it, is dedicated to the memory of the great Alfredo P. Alcala, who shaped Eternia as I love it, and which without his work maybe I'd never learn to draw.

It's good to know there are plenty of others MOTU fans who'd liked to read more vintage Glutt/Alcala stories, hope someone else will do something like "the triumph of Skeletor". I'd like to read someone else minicomics.

With all the great artist in this forum, Mattel could do an whole series of comics, hope they'll think about it.

Excellent stuff and a fun story to boot. I for one would love to see you do a story in this style involving Hordak...but that is entirely up to you
