SoCal update: I called the Burbank store, the LA store on LaCienega and the one in Van Nuys on Sherman and none had any nor could they tell me when they'd be in. I wasn't too broken up about it since the Burbank one is the only one I could make it to before they all closed tonight. One guy did tell me that they could only tell me if they were getting them if they were coming in on the truck that was coming in the next day, and they weren't due for a truck for a few days, if that info is helpful to anyone.

These two packs are going for a King's Ransom on Ebay. It might be wise to leave specific store details to private messages in order to prevent the resellers who may buy all these up just to "offer" them here in the marketplace and Ebay. Just my 2 cents.![]()
No luck in my area today either, but TRU did have the new UFC figs I needed so it was still a minor victory for my gas money, ha ha.
Hopefully it will be soon!
Had a real genius at Toys R Us today...
I went looking for the 2 packs as I had to go out anyway.. start browsing the aisles.. employee is there, asking everybody if he can help them find anything. I tell him what I'm looking for, tell him it's new, just started showing up. The second I said "He-Man" he starting smirking and shaking his head, says "We haven't had anything He-Man since 1984..."
......
I'll let that sit for a minute.
......
yeah, this was one of those you could tell was real smart just by looking at him.... and yet he has a job and I don't
I didn't find them, and the employee didn't offer to check the inventory or anything (hey, why do everything you can to make a sale? That'd take effort and dedication, can't have that now). I should have told him to, but we were pressed for time.
Ah well, I have another TRU to check tomorrow.

I checked the Brookfield, WI store today. They had the peg and price tag, but no figures.
I didn't ask a TRU employee if they have He-Man when I went because my view on that is that people don't know that He-Man is back!! People remember He-Man from the 80s. It is a good idea to ask but I was afraid of getting an answer like u did. I don't like those kinds of answers.![]()
We have the POWER!!!
I don't usually ask either, almost never in fact, and for exactly this reason, but he came to me so I figured "eh, what the hell". Of coruse, after he said what he said I looked through the entire section anyway.
Besides, even if He-Man DID end for most people in the 80s, in ended in 87, not 84. 84 was its boom year, they almost had nothing BUT He-Man in 84.what a dope!

SLUSH HEAD FINALLY SHOWED UP IN MOTUC YAY!!!
I'm guessing the reproduction is from original comics, not the original art, which is part of the reason it looks a little goofy. Also, the colors are probably based off of the original print colors, not what the original colorist sent to the place where the film cutting was done for print. Don't have the two side by side right now to be able to look, though.
Random side note: the credits have been redone with Comicraft's Hush Hush font.
As for getting the comic and card out, I just carefully used a utility knife on the bottom edge straight down on the flat part of the bubble where there was no glue, then a little bit on each side. worked like a charm for me.
Found them today in south Downers Grove, IL. They had 1 of each on the shelfand 1 of each on hold at customer service.

@ josh, a couple of us compared it to our comics, it just looks a little off. and a friend who was there actually said that's probably how it went down.
it was easy enough to get out but getting all excess plastic off the card was a drag when they could of put the full image on the insert. oh well
are you happy with the packs? i think they turned out cool, that skeletor is nice.
maa without his pants and shirt on the reprint cover was strange

I've yet to own the preview, so I am content with this version for now.And I get what you mean now; I wasn't realizing you mean getting all the comic-size blister off the cardback.
And I totally dig these packs! The Man-At-Arms is really goofy; he also has striped armor on his right leg! Don't even get me started on him carrying that flag, though. The red-faced blue Mer-Man on the cover has the potential to be a pretty awesome future 2-pack figure, in my eyes.
@ josh, that version of mer-man would be cool. they got me wanting some comic versions now, screw you mattel![]()

or how about this
but i don't want to buy any more vs dc, it wouldn't make much sense and i just really want the masters figures.

Hit up a TRU today and no dice. Does anyone have the UPC number?

I checked two TRU's today in northern Ohio (Canton and Fairlawn) and no luck. I'm going to check another one tomorrow after I workout. Neither TRU had any sign of these 2 packs. One store had some helpful employees who knew what I was talking about but had no info other than why they will be on the end cap. I didn't know that Mattel actually buys that endcap space. That's why TG knew that they'd be there. My guess is these are going to fly off the shelves!
It's all about being polished when it counts!
