    What??
One of my favourite childhood memories was going into Tumbles Toys in Liverpool (an independant toy store) and finding a pot of Horde Slime on sale for ú1 (that's less than a dollar for my TransAtlantic friends) exactly what i had left of my pocket money for the entire month. The bus ride seemed so much longer going home as I wasn't allowed to open it. But once home, (almost) EVERYONE! had a turn in the Slime pit that afternoon!

    We need MOTUC Slime!!

Actually thinking about it, I remember not everyone liking Slime - my mother constantly digging it out of the carpet, and binning it after I had left it with the lid off and it dired out ( I must have gone through about 6 tubs when younger)

I'm not a fan. I remember the year I got Ecto-1 and some ghostbusters for Christmas. The slime ended up all over/in the car Christmas morning, and stayed there for the entire time I owned it. It was pretty gross.

I could do without slime, to be honest. And if we are on the subject, I would prefer a Fright Zone over a Slime Pit for smaller playsets.

Slime is not for me... it was great and all as a kid ,when i used to beat on my toys and bury them in the yard.. but now.. i have zero interest in it... if a slime pit were to be made..i would want maybe a clear plastic slime to attach for effect..
If motuc figures cost 99 cents then maybe... but NO WAY would i even think about slimming a $25+ action figure.. or anything for that matter...
BUT Bring on the pit AND the mutants!!!!

I would love some slime, though I'm afraid design would take the 4H's slime design and ruin it. We'd get some sloppy blue ooze that smells like roses! Everyone knows slime should be green and smell like plasticine and it can't be too wet. I said it first, design will ruin slime. And Scott will change the name from slime pit to Spector juice hole.

Not a fan of slime myself. Don't like to get my figures "dirty" and slime is just messy and takes more time to clean up than any enjoyment received from temporarily pouring it onto a character.
    Most wanted: 1) Lizorr, 2) Sagitar, 3) King Miro, 4) Hunga, 5) Hoove, 6) Kayo, 7) Artilla, 9) Master Sebrian, 10) Masks of Power Demons, 11) Twiggets, 12) Raj-Jar, 13) Hans Hammerholder, 14) Staghorn, 15) Spinwit, 16) Kittrina, 17) Vizar, 18) Butthead, 19) Nocturna, 20) Melaktha, 21) Stridor, 22) Uncle Montork & Dree-Elle, 23) ABC Giants

I prefer not Slime (just in order to keep low prices and we can get it later), but the toys must be prepared to use the Slime with them.

I love slime! BUT there are different consistencies and I am not a fan of the runnier kind (the Ghostbusters ecto plasm was usually more liquidy than the MOTU slime) I like the slime that is more of an entity. so the formula has to be right.

no interest in actual slime...but the slime pit in classics would be awesome! They could do a translucent green plastic slime piece that looks like slime coming out of the mouth. Case closed Matty...MAKE IT

I loved slime as a kid. Not sure how I would feel about slime being poured on my MOTUC figures, though . Sometimes I buy vintage figures that still feel like they have some slime residue on them (although that could just be the plastic breaking down).

It made sense when i was a kid, it doesn't make a lot of sense to me as an adult collector. I don't play with these things

I don't mind it, was fun as a kid but now I have no interest in pouring it over my ú20 figures then having to wash it off afterwards lol. It's worth it as a kid as you can play games having He-man turned into a slime warrior or whatever but now I would just pour it on to see it, then have to wash it off straight after. Pointless.

I think for a lot of collectors (myself included) there is an element of OCD involved so getting the collectibles dirty or slimy isn't a natural impulse.

Even as a kid I would play with the slime for about five minutes before I got bored with it.

Exactly what this gentleman has said. But I'll raise him... Mattel, I give you $100 for a Four Horsemen classically designed Slime Pit!!!
As for actual slime, I don't know about mixing slime with my upwards of 30-dollar action figures. Maybe some sort of translucent plastic armor-like parts that can be snapped over the bodies of figures to make them appear slimed?

Yes!!!! I suggested this exact same thing in another thread! Translucent, green plastic, all the way. Though, I wouldn't mind a small tumbler of actual slime, just for kicks (NOT to dump on figures!) - IF it was exactly the same recipe as in the 80's. I loved slime. Don't know why I was so obsessed with it. Sometimes I'd lay on the kitchen floor and put it on my cheeks and forehead. I was a weird kid
    Some remaining, post 2017-Reveals, WANTS:
Kittrina, Lady Slither, Garth, Master Sebrian, Skeleteen, Kay-La, (comic)Garn, Meliac, Sagitar, Melog, Spirit of Evil, Slime Pit He-Man, Artilla, Drissi, Caz, Grot, Melaktha, Scrollos, Hunga, Rajar, Bubblor, Songster, Red Beast, Zed, NA Sorceress, Staghorn, Col. Blast...and hoping to someday see a Fright Zone with Slime Pit!

IN California we called that "SLime cold"

Also very strange. I used the search feature and this thread didn't come up? Am I crazy or just stupid?

NOT calling anyone a lair, but I have a HARD time understanding that. I always have.

    collecting them
    adjusting the display
    Posing them
    taking pictures
coming up with [IN MY CANON]
    Drawing them
    customizing them.
    Even talking about them

    IS PLAYING WITH YOUR TOYS

thous of of with kids probably even have battles and "do the voices" it was the reason some of us had kids...to have someone else t o play with

'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments" (Matthew 22:36-40).

I don't get the not-playing with your toys thing either. Why not just not have them then, and instead look at them on the internet like boring grown-ups do?!

And I can't stand the idea of snap-on, fake-a$$, wanna-be, two-bit, try-hard non-slime. That idea makes me want to slime things. I have one of these http://www.virtualtoychest.com/thegl...heglooper.html - so if they ever make the cartridges for them again, look out everyone who wants a slime-pit without slime! I'll be attending your tea-parties ( or whatever the hell it is you prefer to playing with real Mattel slime. )

I would absolutely love a Slime Pit He-Man. A green mostly translucent He-Man variant in 2014 like Spirit of Hordak in 2013. I fully expect this. I have to BELIEVE this into existence! After Spirit of Hordak, this is so obvious!

Anyway, I would be ok to get a 200x Slime Pit bone Mutant or whatever he's called. I dont really need it, nor expect it. But It'd be fine.

I would totally love a Slime Pit for Classics.

It's good to hear Mattel would like to get to it at some point as well, based on WTFWTK 2.153.

    5. Thunderpunch1982: Will we see a Classics version of the Slime Pit? Maybe a can of slime too?

Maaaaaybe! Would love to get to that item. But we have to get some other big things out of the way first. But that's definitely a huge favorite over here.

I think that we are going to see a Slime Monster He-man before too long...Scott was hinting at him a few years ago when asked about a slime pit with He-Man...
