Sagitar (Tharkus) for a large quarterly figure speculation

What do you guys think, is Sagitar (Tharkus) from NA a contender for a large quarterly figure?

Sagitar was the best of the NA figures - even over Optikk. I think he stands a good chance of making the over-sized beast character category, and I can't wait to get one!!!

I highly doubt that we'd see him before 2012, but I'd buy him in a heartbeat! He was the one NA character that also fit perfectly well into the vintage line!

Seeing how Tytus is going to be 12 inches and he is supposed to be the biggest of them all, I think looking at this comparison picture of the original NA sizes would put MOTUC Sagitar at 10 inches. Just my opinion.

Of course. And he'll be a great giant.

I want him after Megator (wish granted) but before any and all the ABC MYP Giants (though I dont mind the idea of those, Sagitar deserves to come first.

He was teh 3rd best figure in NA after Optikk and Slushead. And the only Hero I liked.

I think it would be cool if to perform his transformation from centaur to 4-armed man that either his central limbs are swappable with legs/arms or that they have swappable feet/hands.
Top MOTUC wants: Sagitar, Great Black Wizard, Fang-or, Skeletor's Skeleton Warriors, Odiphus, Illumina w/Sleetah, Lady Slither, Tuvar & Baddrah 2-pack

I think Sagitar will be a really cool inclusion into the Classics line. I'm not exactly sure how he'll be engineered but I think we'll need to see Stridor and Nightstalker before we get a better idea how his mechanics will work. (i.e. are their hind quarters manueverable enough to stand on) If he has any reused parts, it would likely be from the techno-horses, imo.

He will probably be impressively large when standing. In my mind taller than Shadowbeast but smaller than Megator.

So bring him on as a quarterly, if I ventured a guiess I'd say between 2014-2016.
Ask not for whom MOTUC is made, it's made for thee.

If you have to disclaimer your like, then you don't really like it.

Actually when the quarterly large scale figures were announced, Sagitar immediately popped into my mind. He happened to be one of the very few NA figures I actually owned.

Sagitar doesn't look so big anymore when I see him with the MOTUC. I'm sure he'll make a decent bonus beast--providing they all sell "well." I mean we knew BC would be popular, but Mattel is taking it more cautiously than Janet Leigh took her showers after making Psycho. It remains to be seen if the more obscure beasts sell out fast enough for Mattel (I imagine they will sell out though).

Do you think Sagitar could be created Using a Stridor Buck?

Although I love the Vintage NA designs Ive strangely never seen a Sagitar figure, but Ive read he is a centaur, and also a Larger Beast, so with that in mind, can anyone envisage the MOTUC Stridor buck being used for Sagitars horse half?'

Is Sagitar a Bionic Centaur or Organic?

I just figure that if the 4H do Stridor/Night Stalker like BC, then he will have a Neck joint, where a Torso could be attached?

    Does that Sound remotely Feasible?

(I know that we have no idea what the 4H MOTUC Stridor will look like, but I think we can assume he will be faithful to the Vintage design, and also -Finally- Articulated.)

Ah Ok, Thanks for the pic! Interesting concept, with 'Running Hands'.

Points to the designer for not being predictable!

    good suggestion.

I think the main body and hind legs could be reused.
