You can almost see the awesomeness the Four Horsemen would put into that figure. You know he's going to be made, it's just a matter of when.

Sagitar is going to be one of their best figures to date.

Do you think Sagitar could be created Using a Stridor Buck?

Although I love the Vintage NA designs Ive strangely never seen a Sagitar figure, but Ive read he is a centaur, and also a Larger Beast, so with that in mind, can anyone envisage the MOTUC Stridor buck being used for Sagitars horse half?'

Is Sagitar a Bionic Centaur or Organic?

I just figure that if the 4H do Stridor/Night Stalker like BC, then he will have a Neck joint, where a Torso could be attached?

    Does that Sound remotely Feasible?

(I know that we have no idea what the 4H MOTUC Stridor will look like, but I think we can assume he will be faithful to the Vintage design, and also -Finally- Articulated.)

Maybe they could use the torso and hind legs but he had 4 "human" arms

Ah Ok, Thanks for the pic! Interesting concept, with 'Running Hands'.

Points to the designer for not being predictable!

Big fan of centaurs, so I'd definitely be interested in Sagitar if he ever gets made.

    Cheers.

    good suggestion.

I think the main body and hind legs could be reused.

Guys! Don't be giving them any ideas here!!!

I would hate to see any action firgure share parts with a vehicle. It just seems.... wrong. Sure, Strydor is a robot/vehicle hybrid, but I don't want to see it sharing parts with a figure.

i would say the hind legs could be used for both, and i think that if they did the design correctly, and with different paint apps, it could look really cool.

other than that, i wouldnt want anything else to be shared.

I don't think Matty is going to be skimping out on Sagitar. There is just too big of a difference between the two.

thats the thing though, i dont think there is with just the hind legs.

we are talking about a Large figure sculpt. in comparison to gygor/shadow beast, and the BC/Panthor situation.

I also think they will use those bucks more.

but if we are talking about a large figure sculpt, would you rather have them get "chinsy" and do it cheeply, ala Titus?

personally I think that the rest of this figure would be all new sculpt, and different enough to consider that two legs would not be the end of the world. (thats just me)

but saying that it COULD be the same, and SHOULD be the same are two different conversations.

    I think it COULD.

NO. If they get to Sagitar, i think that they should use a standard MOTUC buck for the upper body (ab-crunch and up) connected to a beast lower body which could articulate to stand on two or four "legs"

No, it wouldn't work. Sagitar is supposed to be able to stand up and look like a human with four arms. So having a robot horse body and limbs wouldn't work.

Yep, exactly what I was thinking. I'm sitting here reading everyone trying to convince themselves that Mattel's corner cutting can make this figure work, and I don't see it. It would end up looking as bad as Bravestar's horse looked if they cut corners.

I agree with Daniel. I'm looking at my Sagitar figure and my Stridor right now. They could use a standard male buck for the upper body and sculpt some new armor for Sagitar, but he is not a cyborg. He looks like a futuristic gladiator with his armor and big human boots. He doesn't really look like a horse if you stand him up. He looks a bad arsed warrior with four arms.

Stridor just looks completely different. He's all robotic and rather gear oriented ed.

I really don't see them exchanging parts.

I of course am all for this. I never had any of the NA Toys, (though I do remember looking at Optikk in the toys store and wanting him but not wanting to support the toyline because I thought everyone else looked terrible...I rectified that a few years ago, heheh :P ) but when I became aware of them again from the complete listing of Masters of the Universe/He-Man toys from Action Figure News & Toy Review issue Jan 2001 Sagitar was the only Galactic guardian that I liked.

And he is a really really neat idea to make a centaur, and yet not at all. I love that he's actually a four armed guy that bends down ect. And his running fists make great bashing strong arm weapons, and the upper arms can weild weapons, ect.

    Just great.

Anyway, when I heard about oversized figures, I thought of Tytus, Megator, Sagitar and maybe the MYP ABC Giants. So after Gygor and the Shadowbeast, Sagitar has to come next, or Megator.

But Mattel would be idiotic to make us wait to long for him. Not only a new NA figure, but one of the best Large Scale figures they could do.

all i am saying, is I dont want another titus. and by that i mean thin and cheep. we know they will do stridor RIGHT. so i would be fine taking those hind legs. let me remind you this line is about shared parts.

are people complaining about shadow beasts? panthor?

how about optikk, people love that guy. his whole body is a repaint...... i think we need more creative thinkers in here.

I never had him, but I think Sagitar would make an awesome addition to the line. Not too many of the Galactic Guardians interest me, but he and Tuskador do. I say definitely add him to the line.

Of course. And he'll be a great giant.

I want him after Megator (wish granted) but before any and all the ABC MYP Giants (though I dont mind the idea of those, Sagitar deserves to come first.

He was teh 3rd best figure in NA after Optikk and Slushead. And the only Hero I liked.

I think it would be cool if to perform his transformation from centaur to 4-armed man that either his central limbs are swappable with legs/arms or that they have swappable feet/hands.
Top Ten MOTUC wants: Sagitar, Sssqueeze, Great Black Wizard, Fang-or, Dragstor, Peekablue, Skeletor's Skeleton Warriors, Despara, Evil Seed (all era) w/Odiphus, Illumina w/Sleetah
