The Megator support thread !

I definitely want a MOTUC Megator figure! This is one figure Mattel needs to break its 'no action feature' rule - cos Megator has to be able to swing kick stuff. I can't wait to see a new Megator figure kick He-Ro around like he's a football.

Hey,

We will finally get TYTUS in two weeks ! It's Awesome !

But what do you think about Megator !! I hope he will come very soon and I hope to see him at SDCC ! !!! PLEASE MATTY and SCOTT, PLEASE !!!

Yesterday, I discussed with a friend (tokyonever) about the way the 4 horsemen will sculpt him and how they will do his hench back. Megator is like Beast-man and he needs abdos'articulations. So they can't really use the body of Tytus...

And I don't know how they will do his face and his weapon....

I'm really impatient to get him !! And you ? :-)

Megator has my support. I am sure we'll be seeing him in 2011. Hopefully we'll get Megator, Panthor and SWIFTWIND in 2011 since, being that army builder two packs are considered in the "beast" category it's highly likely that the fourth beast we get this year will be one of them.

I definitely would like a MOTUC Megator to go with my vintage one. When he gets made I really hope they don't cheap out and just give us a green Tytus figure with a new head. To really do the figure right the only things they can reuse from Tytus are the arms, waist, and upper legs. Everything else needs to be a new sculpt.

I want him! He's pretty much a given to show up soon.

I've never owned the original Tytus and Megator, but I did get the new Tytus early. The originals must have been frickin MASSIVE. I mean, I've seen the comparison shots, but it doesn't hit you until you see MOTUC Tytus in person, who I consider to be pretty big.

Honestly, I was much more excited about Megator's prospects before Tytus was released.

I know chances are slim-to-none that they could go back to the drawing board on the giant buck, but I fear without some revisions Megator will end up pretty lackluster.

I don't really want the giants so I HOPE it is released for his fans THIS year so I don't have to pay for him with the 2011 sub. If he comes out last year, I will SURELY be looking for someone to send him to as I have no room for the giants.

I have a little hope that he might get a redo since we're not going to see him in 2011. I foolishly hope that the extra time will give them some room to increase the budget for the big guy.

That's pretty much my opinion as well.

I was really unimpressed with Tytus, and get moreso the more I look at pictures of him (didn't buy him). I honestly cannot see myself paying 40 dollars for Megator if he's based on the underwhelming Tytus buck.
