Gray from POG Discussion/Speculation/Support Thread

I would get Eldor and Gray. That is a cool find.

I'm not opposed to the idea, but I'd want pretty much every other character made into a figure first. I'd rather not see a Gray figure for a long time, as I have no attachment to him, and he doesn't loook particularly cool or anything. My collection can get along just fine without him, so he's not a desired figure as far as I'm concerned.

I echo that. I already have a He-Ro figure that I don't really care for that much and doesn't mean that much to me. What's more important is what we all know and love from the 80s. Although these are some nice mysteries in MOTU right up there with wonder bread and Gygor I guess.

Unfortunately since Mattel more or less scrapped the whole Gray storyline for the Ro bio that may put a damper on things.

"Gray" could be Ro's Preternian "Secret Identity". He could come with a Starfield Magenta Sword of He... (as a nod to Adam's Magenta Sword)

This Eldor card is the BOMB !

Among the heroes, other than Adam, there are 3 very important characters - as far as MOTU mythos is concerned - who need to be released : Sorceress (first and foremost), Eldor and Gwildor.

I'm all for Eldor ! And I'd buy Gray too.

This said, Gray is not a figure I'd like soon. Eldor is more important, and so are many of lour beloved 80's characters.

So I hope we see Spikor, Two Bad, Tung Lashor, Sy-Klone, Grizzlor, Man-E-Faces etc. before we get to Gray.

I still hope that this year's SDCC exclusive will be Eldor !

I already know that I want an Eldor figure (and he's still my pick for the SDCC exclusive), but yes, I definitely want a Gray as well! Awesome!

According to the 80's, the Book of Living Spells turned him into He-Ro and not the Sword of He "Ro" got from Trolla. In the MOTUC cannon, he isn't even from Eternia:

He-Ro - Heroic Cosmic Warrior
Real Name: Ro

Given the sword of He by the Overlords of the Timeless Dimension of Trolla, Ro was told to "go forth and combat evil". During one such epic battle, he was infected with a techno-organic virus by Horde Supreme and sent through a vortex to the magic planet of Eternia. Once there, he was healed by Eldor in a mystical pool which absorbed his virus. In gratitude, He-Ro swore to help free Eternia from the Snake Men and Horde invaders. He defended the free people alongside the great King Grayskull, eventually bequeathing his sword to the King upon his heroic death.

YES!!!!!!!! I want anything to do with POG! I don't care if they have to call him "Ro." I don't care if they come up with another ridiculous bio that has nothing to do with his real history. I don't care what it takes. Bring him on!

Looks like a great bonus figure. Slightly modified He-Ro head on Adam's body (and obviously different colors). Yes, I'd love it! Like others, I want Eldor though and I hope he'd be on his way soon.
