While I can't wait until we get Eldor as a figure, I'd actually be more excited for Gray!

I'd rather see Eldor be released then Gray, but in time, absolutely I would get a Gray. He'd be a great sub exclusive.

Gray ranks up there with Wonder Bread He-Man (Wun-Dar) as an extremely obscure character in MOTU mythos. The Gray we did know about historically no longer exists as He-Ro is a very different character. As a result, I think Gray would be an excellent 2011 subscription only exclusive and I will be pleased to order 2 of him.

Omigod, what an incredible find this is!

The info about The Book Of Living Spells has so much story potential, and really makes Eldor seem far more powerful than I thought he was.

I badly want a Gray/Ro figure too. Seems like he could be a simple Prince Adam repaint with a new head.

Definitely! I didn't know anything about Preternia or Powers Of Grayskull until I came to this site a couple of years ago. He-Ro has been one of my favorite characters for the MOTUC line since he was first announced but I really didn't want Eldor(he seemed to be an old man version of Duncan to me). after seeing Eldor's unreleased cardback, not only do I now really want Eldor, I want the Book Of Living Spells and Gray even more!

Hey Everyone,

I certainly want a Gray figure in the "MotU:C" line, but Eldor is also very important to me. I really think that Gray could use a lot of re-use parts. I really still have so much enthusiasm for the potential this line has to deliver so many characters that have never appeared in figure form in any previous "MotU" related line.

First: HOLY CRAP that card back is AMAZING! That is one great find.

Yes, I would like a Gray figure, but waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay down the line. I need classic Prince Adam, Queen Marlena, classic Sorceress, Ram Man, Faceless One, Eldor 200X Evil Lyn and quite a few others looooooooooooooooong before I need him.

Huh? Who is Ro? How does he relate to He? I know that He-Ro has He's sword, doesn't he? How does Ro fit in with MOTUC He-Ro?

This back story is getting really confusing. Is there some sort of timeline somewhere?

Ro is He-Ro like Adam is He-Man. In the 80's he was Gray. Ro is STUPID as a secret identity though, as it's the second part of his heroic identity.

:

He-Ro - Heroic Cosmic Warrior
Real Name: Ro

Given the sword of He by the Overlords of the Timeless Dimension of Trolla, Ro was told to "go forth and combat evil". During one such epic battle, he was infected with a techno-organic virus by Horde Supreme and sent through a vortex to the magic planet of Eternia. Once there, he was healed by Eldor in a mystical pool which absorbed his virus. In gratitude, He-Ro swore to help free Eternia from the Snake Men and Horde invaders. He defended the free people alongside the great King Grayskull, eventually bequeathing his sword to the King upon his heroic death.

I'd definitely snatch up a Gray in a minute; I don't see a problem with working him in, as they worked in his adopted guardian Sharella into the mythos as the Goddess.

Anything they can bring in from Powers of Grayskull is welcome as far as I'm concerned. THere's a lot of untapped potential to work with there, even with the new somewhat convoluted story in the bios.

As we said in another thread, Gray can still work in with what they've established for MOTUC - using the Superman format:

Ro = Kal-El (The original name he was born with)
He-Ro = Superman (The "superhero" identity)
Gray = Clark Kent (The secret identity he goes by when living on Eternia - Like Adam of Levitan that He-Man went uder in the NA series)
