What bskcase suggested. The floor wax works perfectly!

You can also try boil and pinch method. Dip the loose joints in boiling water for a few minutes. Pinch it so that it can get tighten then dip in ice cold water. It works great that way too.

As I said, I don't use a hair dryer for tightening joints, per se, but rather to fix accessories, etc. I've boiled parts and run them under cold water in the past to tighten then, but I've always found that it doesn't stay tight past a few days.

Am I doing something wrong with this method?
Boiling the water in a small taller container takes like 3 minutes, then dipping the figure for a few seconds, but I can almost pop an entire figure apart in less than a minute before the water gets too cool....

And no, the boiling method will not fix loose joints....in most cases it's the joint not engineered right plus being too loose on top of it....the newer male figures seem to have it right....but the old ones are screwed because all you can do it try to fix them. So boiling only serves a temp fix for looseness.

I wanted to add one more confirmation that bskcase's method of using the acrylic floor cleaner works great! Any excess wipes right off and there is no discoloration or stickiness once dried. Please try this before resorting to super-glue or another destructive method!

    Thanks bskcase!

BTW, try applying a liberal amount with a small brush to a loose neck joint of Battle Cat. Let it dry overnight and it should be much better. Try a second coat after the first dries for a really loose neck!

I want to try the acrylic floor cleaner method, but they don't seem to make Pledge Future Shine any more.

Does anyone have any tips? What are people using now?

I can't find it either, I was going to buy some for use as clear coat, many customizers say it works, I just wanted to see for myself just how good....I have my doubts. I know it did restore a hard shine to new floor that some dumb ass stripped the top coat off of at one of my Dad's rental homes. What they used, and why, who the hell knows.

Pledge claims that the replacement product, multi surface floor cleaner, is the same thing, but I don't think so.

It doesn't say acrylic protection anywhere on it. Was that the key ingredient that made it tighten joints?

    The Acrylic....

And floor cleaner is not the same thing, I don't care what they say....Future wasn't a cleaner, it was a sealer.

Actually, clear acrylic clear coat may work the same. I know that stuff makes even the worst acrylic paints durable when covered in it.

I have this old Testors clear model glue and window maker stuff, it's old, not sure they make it anymore, but I used it on Octavia, and it worked great, and dries very clear.

Hopefully someone who used Future or Pledge with Future Shine will know a replacement, similar product.

I doubt the Pledge multisurface floor cleaner that Amazon sent me will work.

Maybe this is what they meant? Looks like it could be the same as Future was.

Nevermind....it's this, it even says Acrylic....

Not sure about the wood floor cleaner. Try this:

It's the acrylic floor finish. It used to look like this:

I have this. This is what Amazon sent me despite the picture and product listing saying "with Future shine."

I do see on the ingredient page it mention acrylic protection, but that's no longer anywhere on the bottle.

I guess I can try it.

Yeah, I found that, must have been just seconds before you posted, it was on the same page as where I found the Wood Floor finish.
