I noticed that too…but others are more 200X like Castle Grayskull totally reminds me of how the castle appeared in the MVC Comics, and Snake Mountain looks like it's right out of the MYP toon. Strange they did that with the castle, we already have a conflict with how the castle appears after this. Scareglow's reliquary and the map depiction. The Map version appears to NOT have the "knob" on the top of the skull dome.

I was originally on the fence about framing this, I didn't want to hide the secrets on the back of the poster. Having seen the back, I can't hide it fast enough.
How cool would the back of that poster have been if it gave you the same information, but in a giant comics format? Now that would have been something.

With how rich and amazing the vintage art work was I have to admit I had higher hopes for the map. Kinda flat to me.
You're right.
He-Man and Skeletor are the "masters of the universe" that are alluded to at the end of the bio.
Adam & Adora are the twins that are mentioned in the beginning.
I suppose that since Skeletor IS the one to defeat Hordak, and then we don't really know what happens to the Horde and Skeletor then, perhaps there is something better in store for Skeletor.
MAYBE, Keldor returns, and he and He-Man use their respective halves to destroy the remainder of the Horde.
That would explain why Keldor's bio had such a sympathetic theme. He was the victim of circumstance, and of Hordak's magic. He was misunderstood, but his intentions, initially, were perhaps heroic.

This just makes She-Ra secondary and I HATE that
BUT, it's interesting nonetheless...
In any case, it's A LOT like Emiliano's "Homecoming" if Skeletor ends up being a deciding, somewhat heroic factor in the eventual end of the evil ones. Skeletor IS "wise," even though he's mad. So in his "Wisdom," as the Eternia "bio" states, he may have helped to restore order by helping to destroy the Horde.

ON THE PLUS SIDE: Evil-Lyn's face looks AMAZING. And she seems to have less silver paint, which I like.
Wun-Dar looks perfect too.
Also, check out the top center of the map and the woman there....

...and yeah, the Eternia bio is weird. I too thought it would be scattered facts kind of "hand written" on the back of the map...as if done by an ancient.

So lets see...Not only did the subscribers get our monthly figures with no hassle, even though we still had to log on for the hassle of 5 minute sell outs on stuff that we couldn't order after sitting on that stupid refresh screen for god knows how long, we get this uber fantastic map with the "Secrets of Enternia" that are so secret and mysterious we aren't supposed to share them. Oh yeah and theres the He-man repaint, and the famous "8$ off SHIPPING for Battlecat" coupon most of us couldn't use. I feel like a valued customer!
