See the thing is the actual 'secrets' that were supposed to be on the map would have required much more effort to go into the production of the map which would have raised the cost of the sign up bonus, and since the extra cost wasn't included on the charge Matty has decided to sell the secrets on their site on May 15th.

Get it while you can folks, this one is sure to go fast. And the only way to ensure that you get the text with the next map is to sign up for the all inclusive 2011 subscription!

Maybe the graphic designer did the back of the map in a hyper anime style. Since that style is retired, Toyguru must have photoshopped it out at the last minute.

And if the ads Matty's been putting out along with some of the texts in the bios are any indication Spell Check is also considered a hyper stylized form of anime detail that has been retired by Matty.

Silly question, How big is Eternia? Those places seem rather spread out, yet characters seemed to "commute" back and forth using regular methods of travel within a reasonable amount of time, no muss, no fuss...

I was thinking the same thing. It must be a tiny planet as compared to Earth.

I LOVE the map! I can never understand that since we have got MOTU back, in toy form, why everyone loves to complain about every single, little detail. So what if they didn't fill up the back of the map? So what if there aren't little facts put by every spot on the map? Can't people just be happy that we are getting MOTU stuff and it's very nice!? I'm ecstatic to have any of this. It seems like most want this to crash and burn and turn into the 200X line and be left with nothing...

The map is about what I expected but the bit about Eternia on its back is pretty cool. I love that it makes Zodac seem more important.

What I can't wait for is Wun-Dar!!! It's incredible how a bunch of re-used & repainted parts can make such a cool character. I know there are a lot of 2002 fans that just can't wrap their heads around this, but I don't know what else to tell them. I even love that, while it's just an homage to the "Wonder Bread He-Man urban legend", Wun-Dar actually sounds like a name that Mattel would have made for the Vintage line.

i felt my $20 went towards Wun-Dar and not really the map. hell i plan on scanning the map and then getting it printed on canvas.

Considering the fact that the price of Wun-Dar(even though it was labeled as the Club Eternia membership fee) is no more expensive than any other "normal sized" figure in this line, I'd say the map is free.
