"Eye-Beam" Speculation/Suggestions

Ok, I know we have Tri-Klops, and Optikk is coming, and so is Peekablue (psychic vision), but Eye-Beam (a concept character), would be cool.

The thing is, he could be done as a small pack-in...

what if Eye-Beam were the size of Optikk's eye, and he were given hands and legs?

Or maybe he could be a little larger... no one says the concept toys all HAVE to be 6" figures...

i think it's pretty obvious that they used the idea of eye-beam & turned him into Optikk the same way netta was turned into netossa.

Where does he speak, hear, taste, smell from? Is his brain encased in the eyeball?

That's what I love about his bio! Since his name is pronounced through a series of blinks, that means his species normally has an eyelid. So, we can assume Optikk is like Trap-Jaw, sorta; he's kinda robotic, so I bet he was in some sort of accident. So, without an eyelid, that makes Optikk mute! At least to his own species. He's probably got a vocal emulator to speak to Skelly and the others.

ANYWAY: Eye Beam!! Yeah! I don't care how it's done, so long as it gets done! I'm all for Eye Beam! I've said this in other threads, and I still stand by it: You got to be HARD CORE to be a giant eye and carry around a spear as your main weapon. Whats an eye's worst enemy? Long pointy things! YEAH! I want Eyebeam as well. It would be cool to have 3 eye guys. Eyebeam should be a hero so it's a little more even.

yeah, I was aware of them, but figured that using Eye-Beam as Optikk's former identity, as an homage or whatever, was not possible anymore since Optikk's bio has already been revealed.

Now, Netta, could somehow be mushed into Netossa's bio.

I think Eye-Beam should definitely be a hero.

I could get an Eyebeam, BUT this is a character I don't want to see before ALL 80's characters have been released in MOTUC !

Now, if he's the same size as the other MOTUC figs, he'll take some space, due to the "roundness" of his physique !

I am with you on that one, b-duke. All the villains have to do to immobilize Eyebeam is to carry a bag full of dirt or dust and throw it in his direction. We don't want him on our side.

if they make him, great, if not; no big deal. if people think snout spout was goofy, then Eyebeam is that, 100 times over.

of course if they did make Eyebeam, i'd have to get him, since he/she/it is so unique & such a silly & simple concept.

i like optikk, alot.... definitely says ''alien'' imo. Bring on more characters that are 100% 'alien' like that. Not everyone in the universe has to have a 'human' face, or be based off some type of Earth animal....

How does Optikk speak? good question. How does Skeletor see, speak & hear with no eyes, tougue or ears? Who cares? He's a magical fictional character, & Optikk is a friggin alien. He's not like the rest of us, get it?

He is the giant eye that has human arms and legs and is armed with a spear. the mod guitargod has a pic of him as his avatar. As for his origins, that I am not to sure but I am sure there are more qualified indivduals here to tell the tale...

I was wondering about that. Perhaps he has in inner eye-lid, like Mr Spock, which protects his eye. When he "blinks", it may just be his pupil blinking. The white of his eye is his head, so I imagine it is much tougher than a human eye. As for making an Eye-Beam figure, he was just a runner up, so I doubt it. Would be an easy miniature custom to make, using Optikk's extra eye!

This idea wouldn't work now since Optikk's bio is out. But I thought that it'd be cool if Optikk were actually a robot suit piloted by Eye-Beam. That would be a nice way to bring in the concept character and actually explain Optikk's full mechanical body armor. As a bonus, Eye-Beam would be an evil space mutant.

I've always named my cars so the Mustang is BlueStreak 3.0. The Mustang is still in good shape - so the Pathfinder will likely get a new name.

There's a story behind that name. Every car I've ever owned has been blue. Blue Ford Escort, Blue Geo Prism and Blue Ford Mustang. And now I'm looking at a Blue Nissan Pathfinder.

I've always named my cars so the Mustang is BlueStreak 3.0. The Mustang is still in good shape - so the Pathfinder will likely get a new name.

But Decepticons have the Stunticons. My '74 Road Runner is named Motormaster. But I get you on that the Autobots have more names. Your Pathfinder can be Swindle...

He will soon be on his way. It would be cool to have Oo-Larr so I could use his bare feet. It shouldn't matter if he is wearing boots or not.
