The prototype is so entirely different that it looks like a different character. A different character I wouldn't mind having in addition to regular Blade.

So excited for Blade! He is one of my top most wanted figures, still. Has been since the line started. And, personally, I prefer the figure to resemble the film actor as much as possible!

He looks heavily influenced by the film which is excellent.

I agree. He came out much better than I thought he would.![]()
He looks amazing, so glad he's got the whip!
Anybody know if they’ve corrected the colours of the sword shown at SDCC?

Blade was absolutely done proper by the Horsemen fo 2014. Thanks so much for this figure, guys! God willing he stays this awesome throughout the production pipeline until he reaches our hands.
Harken the coming of Dragstor!!
The chain armor sculpt is totally sick!

Let me start by saying that I want to buy Blade ! He looks awesome ! His sculpt looks wonderful...
NEVERTHELESS, his chainmail armor is quite cumbersome, and I'm afraid it will prevent decent articulations (shoulders and ab crunch in particular, and I wonder also about the legs)...
Wow! He is absolutely incredible! Better than I ever could have imagined.
And it looks like he comes with two sets of swords as well as the laser-whip? So cool.
Hum... It would also be nice to see Blade's back, just to see if he has some kinds of sheaths there to store some of his weapons... Can anyone at Power Con do that for us ?![]()
Blade is phenomenal. Wow, he really has me excited for more movie figures!!!

Looks like his swords are stowed at his sides, and if you look at his mid-section you can see normal silver without the chainmail links - I think that's his torso, which should allow his ab crunch to work.

You're right about the places to store his swords, Alexx ! That's great news !Looks like his swords are stowed at his sides, and if you look at his mid-section you can see normal silver without the chainmail links - I think that's his torso, which should allow his ab crunch to work.
Nevertheless, I think his cumbersome chainmail/armor might hinder some articulations... shoulders and ab crunch, especially. The place you mentioned for his abs doesn't seem to be a likely point if articulation, to be honest... Oh well, we'll have to wait for his preview to know better, I suppose...
Anyway, I'll buy him !I think the thing I prefer about him is the fact he looks so movie-accurate !

Now that´s a very detail packed figure.
WOW
All those chains, the gauntlets, the boots and the scar on his forehead not forgetting the handle for the Sword!
I´m almost jealous looking at some other figures comparing him with them
I´m not his biggest fan but he looks amazing!

The Horsemen did an amazing job. Hopefully the final product retains all the accessories and turns out as great!
