I've got my fingers crossed that a 200x inspired Evil Lyn with extra head will come in the future. But would they subtract the bird & stand for the extra head for the 200x style Evil Lyn?
I FULLY SUPPORT THE INCLUSION OF ILLUMINA IN MOTUC!

Everyone keeps talking about a new head for Evil Lyn. This one would be really cool to have to stand next to Keldor:

You won't see any complaining from me if they gave us that!
I'd love to add some more characters to my 'Great Unrest' era shelf. Having a younger, helmetless, normal skinned Lyn would be sweet.
I soooooooooo want this head. This is the "Young Lyn" or "Lyn of Zalesia" I've mentioned twice now when we've had discussions about a 200X version of Evil-Lyn
She could come with this head AND a Re-colored version of her regular helmeted head to make her into regular 200X Evil-Lyn.
They can rethink this MYP design and make a compromise between it and the elder Lyn costume, and then give us A-List variant: Lyn of Zalesia.![]()
A Want List of Sorts:
Rokkon, Stonedar, Nepthu, Plundor, Sea Hawk, Strong-Arm, Dactys, Horde Troopers, Storm, Geldor, Modulok, Battle Ram, Kowl, Loo-Kee, Hydron, Glimmer, Eldor, Two Bad, Ninjor, Rio Blast, Mermista, Entrapta, Sweet Bee, Peekablue, Flutterina, Gorpo, Flogg, Crimson Fury, Songster, Lodar, Kex Queen, Goat Man, Darius, Uncle Montork, Dree-Elle
Evil Lynn is my one and only A-list varient want. I never liked her having yellow skin. In the cartoons, movie and most comics she was always white and issurely more recognised with white skin rather than yellow.

OK, I am not seeing a difference between the picture you posted from Toy Fare and the photo above of EL? Can you explain the differences you are referring to?
I would much rather have 2 different versions of the 200X Evil Lyn. I think there is a big enough difference in her costume from the young to old Lyn that it would warrent 2 different figures.

I think he is saying that they prototype looked better. Which is always true especially when it comes to female figures. Teela's proto looked alot better also.
I'm pretty sure we will get a helmetless Lyn, I hope it's more Filmation like.
Why would you quibble about her skin being called white Reboot? Its to pale to be pink so I cant think of a colour its closer to than white.

Not to knock the photo manip above, but I played with this a bit more to pull out the dimension of the hair, changed the makeup and added a dark background for contrast.
looks alright, but Id rather she have the short hair.

Yup.
This is all we need for an Evil-Lyn refresh. Let's forget the bird on his stumpy stand & replace with:
Short-white hair head.
Spell-casting hand.
Bikini.

The custom is cool but Lyn has white hair.
200X fan? Classic fan? What does that mean? I'm a MotU fan!!!
Evil-Lyn was yellow skinned in Filmation too. It's just hard to tell because it looks very pale.
I checked the paint colour and it looks green though, which is crazy.

..... I really dont know why all wont to see a yellow evil Lyn with white hair ? I never see the yellow Lyn without her helmet and have to say that I like the yellow skin / black hair more than white hair on yellow skin!
check out my custom and some pics .....

That's the exact one I want too! And they could sculpt her a new dress based on that 200X pre-Great Unrest Evil-Lyn (or was it just Lyn back then?) outfit. Then just add a repaint of the vintage head in the package for good measure. That'd be the perfect 200X variant for me.

It's mostly an Asia-Pacific skin colour, which is fairly different to Caucasian (white). Although sometimes it slipped to their "standard" skin colour, and that helmetless pic is leaning in that direction.
The Filmation cartoon had an audience in the hundreds of millions over its airing life, which extended well beyond the vintage toyline. The Yellow-Lyn toy was on sale for, what, a year? Less? [It definitely seems to have gone by 1984, whereas the Filmation cartoon continued on into the early 90s in US syndication and on ITV in the UK, at least.]
She wasn't yellow - she was mostly (as I said) given a roughly Asia-Pacific (i.e. Japan, China and the surrounding countries) type skin colour, though not corresponding to any actual ethnic group. Probably because yellow was typically used in the old days in comics [and probably cartoons] as a rather racist depiction of the skin colour of people from that region, and they wouldn't use it as a result - the same way they dropped Jitsu permanently after a single appearance when he was seen as overtly racist, even within Filmation.
Eh? Why'd you post that - the licensing kits aren't Filmation - the PoP one is Filmation-inspired, but involving non-Filmation elements like She-Ra's gold sword, Bow's "playing card" arrows and Sweet Bee's unique (pink-free) colour scheme; and the MotU one is barely Filmation at all, with a different art style and using Snake Armoured Teela, amongst other points.
