The figures that can be produced are figures that were in the original MOTU, POP and NA lines, as well as in the mini-comics for these lines.
Characters that appeared in the 2002 MYP cartoon are also fair game.
Filmation characters are off limits!
Who will be produced will remain to be seen.

We will pick up to 5 questions we feel might get answers at that time. Please do not take offense to your question not being asked.

The questions that were asked in the previous Q&A & will be answered in a couple weeks as follows (please do not repeat them, or questions from previous Q&As):

1. MoViEfReAk: If and when Mosquitor comes, will he have the small degenerated insect legs the Mini Statue had? They could be added to additional blood tanks, just like Webstor's extra legs were added to his back pack, and therefore be removable.

2. PrinceAdam101: Considering the super-fast sellout for the weapons pack, I am hoping for more packs down the line. If that is so, would you consider adding new-colored capes from already existing molds? Keldor's and She-Ra's come to mind.

3. Spectror: Back in the 80's, the 3 towers of Eternia (Eternia playset) came with a whole bunch of weapons. Can we expect these "Eternia playset" weapons to be made in MOTUC style?

4. The.Idea.of.Evil: Will there ever be a MotUC figure released with a 200X paint scheme before its original vintage colors? A lot of fans wanted Evil-Lyn to have her 200X purple color scheme, and a number of fans hope the Sorceress will have her 200X aqua/white/gold colors before a release of the vintage blue/white/orange regardless of her sculpt.

5. radrcks: Are there any chances that down the line there will be a silver version of She-Ra's shield to go with Adora's silver power sword?

Do you plan on making any other style figures besides MOTUC style sometime in the future? If not, why not ask fans at SDCC what other type of MOTU figures they may want so we do not see a repeat of the Attitubes...which I would have bought by the way.

The latest wave of PoP-figures had additional swords shown on the cross-sell-art on the cardbacks, but didn't come with those (Netossa/ Spinnerella). If and when we get to them, will they have those swords?

My question and I guess many foreign collectors like to know this...

I really do like this line and of course I'm very happy that the 2011 sub will have everything included. Unfortunately, for foreign subscribers, with the 2010 sub you offered only the very cheap shipping option and a very expensive shipping option.
Earlier it has been asked if you could offer cheaper, save shipping like USPS Priority Mail. Will you offer a mid-priced shipping option for foreign collectors for 2011 Club Eternia?
This would be very good news, especially because the larger scaled items are way too expensive to ship. Remember that most European collectors face very high custom-charges as well. In many European countries shipping costs are even calculated in customs.

When placing an order on Matty we know that "products are not guaranteed until you have reached the "Order Completed" page". Any updates on when this will be changed so that once a figure is in our cart it means it is ours, even if the rest of the stock sells out before we're able to get to the "Order Completed" page?

With a preponderance of figures that would require 100% original tooling (Cringer, Ram-Man, any of the Horde and Snake Men), is there any merit to the idea of putting those figures in the giant/beast price range to speed their creation and offset the cost involved with making them?

Any chance of later down the line releasing Tytus and Megator as 6 inch figures with the standard articulation for that size? Other lines (such as TMNT) have done this later on with larger characters to give them the benefits or better articulation and paint detail and have proven to be popular.

We learned a couple of months ago that Matty/Mattel was considering mini-vehicles to be included in MOTUC. Nothing official yet, we know.

But we're just wondering... IF these mini-vehicles are produced, will they mix the different MOTU lines and eras too : 80's MOTU, NA and 200X ?

The more I see it, the more the MOTUC-ized version of She-Ra's original action figure tiara grows on me. Any chance of seeing an 80's accurate outfit on a refreshed She-Ra down the line?

Do you plan to eventually make all six NA costume variants of He-Man and Skeletor or just making one amalgamated look for one NA He-Man and one NA Skeletor? Looking at Battle Blade Skeletor and Disk of Doom Skeletor its easy to see the similarities in designs.





Laser Light Skeletor and the first (1989) NA Skeletor are also similar in costume design that they could be amalgamated for a single MOTUC styled look.






The same could be said for NA and Laser Light He-Man. They are all dressed extremely similar...

With the fast sell out times of Battle Cat and Tytus. Are we to expect the same with Gygor and King Grakskull? i.e. Are Gygor and Grakskull's production number the same as Tytus and Battle Cat?

Would Queen Marlena be subject to the "vastly different 200X look rule" (like Zodak, Randor, Evil-Lyn and Prince Adam) and have two figures, since there is the red head from the mini-comics and the brunette from 200X or would Queen Marlena simply come with the mini-comic and 200X heads? I'm strictly talking about the default Marlena in the royal dress version, not her Battle Armor 200X costume (although I'd like to see that too!).

At SDCC (and/or other conventions) will Mattel sell unused "CS Use Only" stock in addition to exclusives?

Horde Prime I think would be a figue most would like to see made, due to him appearing horribly in a comic book, would you still be able to create your own version of him due to that, for example his mechanical fist was the size of a character in the cartoon, could you make him a 24 inch mech type character that I think a lot of us perceive him to be. I would pay $60 for him.

Hi Toy Guru, with what we have learned from the bios about the Overlords of Trolla, the Cosmic Warriors & Enforcers & the "Trollan Power Sword of He", many prople have stated how this aspect of the MOTUC mythos is very similar to the Green Lantern story line & it has been mentioned that you, yourself, is a big Green Lantern fan. As someone who was involved in the writing of the bios (I assume), can you say that the GL backstory was an inspiration or is it just a mere coincidence?

Thanks for answering Q & A's every couple weeks, appearing on podcasts, and posting on here with us. Really appreciate it and it makes everything a lot more exciting a lot more often in the MOTU online world.

My question this time, if selected, goes like this:

Now that we know the template for how things are coming out with the quarterly figures, bonuses, beasts, and regular club eternia figures. Is there any method to choosing which factions figures should belong to as they are released? Do you choose how many Heroic Warriors, Evil Horde, Evil Warriors, Space Mutants, Snake Men, Princess of Power, etc... we should expect per year? Or is it just going to be balanced between heroes and villains?

When Mekaneck and Entrapta arrive, will they have vac-metallized parts just like their vintage counterparts had? Part of the visual appeal of classic Mekaneck was the cool goggles (vs. the bland see-through plastic goggles of the 2002 Mekaneck). And Entrapta really sticks out in the classic PoP line due to the unique look of her being armored in gold (vs. the toned-down hues used in the PoP style guide or Filmation cartoon).

G'day Toyguru, thanks for considering our questions.

It seems Dragon Blaster Skeletor is one of the more popular vintage variants. Can you confirm whether the 4 Horsemen and your team have seen the suggestions on He-Man.org forums that a MOTUC version of Dragon Blaster Skeletor come with an articulated dragon who can both sit on Skeletor's back and also be separated as a posable creature - just as the dragon was represented in the vintage mini-comic? Is this something that could be considered?

It seems that many fans ordered the reissue of Mer-Man only to have some of the remaining stock from the 1st issue of Mer-Man without startburst or white mailer box show up at their door step. Some didn't mind, but there are those of us that order the re-issue simply because we want all versions even if the only difference is a starburst that says "The Original". Can Mattel start listing the 1st and 2nd issue separately much like they did with Moss Man's flocked and UNflocked ears?

When Swifty gets released will She-ra be able to sit on him? Her skirt/dress looks like it's going to hinder her from doing so. If not can you please consider putting slits on the sides of each skirt on the future female figures. This will increase articulation and eliminate the problem of them not being able to sit.

I totally understand the weapon wich came with Tytus, but really it's quite awful, so is it possible to see a one totally new weapon in the weapon paks, like a big hammer for him?

Toyguru, a number of fans who purchased 2010 subscription had problems when they moved to another place and changed their address where to deliver product from Mattycollector. DR shipped the figures to the wrong (= old) address even after the fans announced the problem. Could you please comment on whether this issue is solved for 2011 subscription or do fans need to worry when they purchase 2011 sub and change their address? Thanks.
