    No way!
I'd pay 100-150 for a cool Castle Grayskull, though!
    Awesome sticker included!

If they start selling $100 figures, imagine how much you'll be paying for them on the secondary market...

Yes I would pay 100$, But he should be at least 16 inches.

They could do rotocast with articulation. They just didn't want to...

I skipped Tytus BECUASE he seemed kinda lacking, both in the articulation and quality department. YEs, i actualy would buy a Fully Articulated 100$ version of Tytus.

The irony of this is I bet if Mattel DID make a $100 fully articulated and larger version of Tytus, all the folk here who have said they would buy one (even if reluctantly) would probably miss out to the WSOD & 2 minute sell outs ...

and those who said 'no way' 'never' 'no, no, no' etc would probably buy them all up - denying those who wanted the figure

    My $100 list:

    - 18" Megator
    - articulated Granamyr
    - Castle Grayskull (massive size)
    - Fright Zone
    - Royal Palace
    - Point Dread & Talon Fighter
    - mechanical Spydor
    - mechanical Attak Trak
    - Gigantisaur

    My $200 list:

    - Eternia playset
    - 5 foot tall Snake Mountain

And If we buy all these things....would Matty give us a coupon for a discount to buy a ranch to get enough space for the collection?

Well, considering that fully articulated 12" collector figures from Sideshow, Hot Toys cost over $100, and they have joint problems also (Hot Toys figs are notorious for breaking at the ankle and wrist), I'd say yes.

However, a new $100 Tytus would render the current Tytus obsolete.
The only way I would buy one is if Megator were also released as a $40 "budget" figure and a $100 super deluxe version.

That way folks who don't want to upgrade don't have to, and can still enjoy both figures.

No. I'd rather use that amount of money for several 6" figures over one large scale item. As cool as a Castle Grayskull would be, I would pass on it if it were $100.

My vote is No I cannot justify spending that much on a figure. Here is a perfect reason why Mattel should introduce more buying options than the all in one sub and doomsday once a month. This way, the people that do want the fully articulated giant could buy one and people that don't wouldn't have to. Everyone would be happy.... except Mattel that is because it would mean they might have to work a little harder .

    This spin is bull.

HAVE YOU ALL LOST YOUR MINDS?!?! You are giving them feedback that says, " yes, please charge me even more for figures you are making a huge profit on.". Come on, friends!! Don't say "yes" to this!!! $100?!?!?! No.

$100?! Are they kidding?! Hahaha. We aren't brain dead.

I won't pay that much for grayskull either. Grayskull isn't articulated, so by mattel's logic it shouldn't be toooo expensive. lol. Maybe $80 at most.

I don't know - this whole "will you suckahs pay $100 for articulated giants" just seems smarmy. The way Tytus is articulated is fine.
I completely agree with this statement.
I don't want to encourage Mattel to charge more than it is doing already.

100 for a giant figure..... No. I can't afford it. I barely was able to afford Tytus as it is.
    Mattel I demand the following:
    MOTUC:
Spinwit,Fisto(THANK YOU) Spinnerella Lord Dactys, The Scientists
DCUC: Shining Knight, Saint Walker, Amethyst

(Expletive) No, I would not pay $100 for one figure. As it was ordering Tytus was a bit high but I think my threshold is $60 for any one figure or vehicle

Now a playset I would pay $100-150 for, but that is the only thing I would go that high for

I like this idea. I don't think it would necessarily render the current Tytus obsolete, as I know there are many fans who prefer the giants to be smaller and more affordable.

Perhaps they could explain away the different sizes by saying they have powers similar to superheroes like Giant Man and Atom Smasher.

Either way, it would be nice to have the option of buying larger versions of Tytus & Megator.

No, only if it were Castle Grayskull. Why would I pay $100, if I couldn't even get him when he was $40.

If I'm gonna spend $100 bucks on something, gimme a Castle Grayskull or Snake Mountain.

    First of all...NO!

Second of all...since the purchasing experience on Mattycollector.com is so horrible, I doubt I could get one even if I tried.

I'd like to say yes but I can't yet.

First of all, if Mattel is going to produce an oversized item that would cost $100 dollars, it should be Castle Grayskull and Snake Mountain!

That being said, will I be able to actually get one?

I'm not thrilled with the idea there could be 30,000 of us out there wanting one of these with an available stock of 10,000. This of course is done so we don't have more product than buyers. Ok, I understand. However, if Mattel cannot fill the fan demand for this with a pre order scenario that will meet demand, I think the race for one of these would be a blood bath of anger and frustration.

The result would be the $100 dollar item ends up on ebay for $200 minimum starting price and then I've spent twice or maybe three times the amount of money. It's either that or I have to wait until the next release in which case they might make 15,000 and the publicity has increased demand to 40,000 people who want one of these items.

Then I have to ask Mattel, how many of these are they going to allow to be sold at once???? The online retailers can't wait to shaft the world with their enormous markups so how many do the opportunists get to buy? And when you set your limits, can you actually enforce them????

This is in addition to my continued call for Mattel to seriously review Digital River if not fire the service altogether because its obviously inferior to what else is out there.

These questions should be answered well in advance of Scott or Mattel talking about a $100 dollar item!

People are already giving up on $20 and $40 dollar action figures because of the problems there have been getting them. To get my full order of Tytus figures I commited to buy for myself and others, I had to spend $340 on a secondary market to secure them.

Mattel needs to correct this issue so that THEY can make the $340 dollars instead of Ebay, Paypal, Online Ebay opportunists and the host of other online toy stores who are drastically over priced!

If I were working for Mattel, and I should be because I can sell the hell out of anything and market it like a selling god, I would get these things figured out asap so that my company could bank! My suspiscion is that someone at Mattel is counting on the secondary market to do some of their advertisement. Great! It's working! Now increase production to meet the demand you know is there. It's still all about the fans in the end. Exposure of product might increase and produce more interest but you can only push that so far as the pendulum will swing back the other way and run into demand and customer satisfaction! In other words, if I have to continually pay twice or three times the amount to get a figure, I'm going to get tired of that real quick.

If Mattel could guarantee that I would get the item for my $100 dollars, tell me what it's going to be in advance and give me the option of pre-order, I would go for it even if I had to wait a year. I'd just rather not be charged to death and hassled by the issues I stated above.

    Bring on Castle Grayskull!
