    FIFA World Cup Brazil 2014

    It has began!
Here in Argentina it is said that life is something that just goes to sleep between World Cup Championships.
I'm very excited and enthusiastic about this year's games and the possibility of Brazil-Argentina Final Match
    Are there any other fans?

I will be watching as well. Although I live in and root for the US, I know they don't have a chance of winning. I doubt they will even make it out of the group stage, but I still enjoy watching.

My dad is all pumped up.

At least he stopped talking about horse racing. I hate that even more.

I can't believe it: Croatia is winning 1-0 against to Brazil at the inaugural match in the first 15min!

It would not remain that way; even with Brazil loosing this match, they shall come up with a terrible vengenace

Interesting match so far. I think Croatia did well to bring it to the half at 1-1. Brasil finally picked up the pace after about 20 minutes; I don't see them losing this one.

Weird atmosphere to the stadium I thought. Like overly-sterilized? No banners or flags hanging the way you usually see. Guess they don't want us to be distracted from the ads. :P

Like Bishop Berkeley's tree, if it isn't called The World Something and doesn't involve teams with snazzy names like Giants and Racoons, it doesn't exist :P

So far so disappointing. Looking forward to a post-Blatter FIFA. Hopefully someone'll sort out the Qatar mess sooner rather than later.

I just don't get the excitement myself. The field is too damn big and it takes FOREVER to get any action going. The Simpsons watching soccer describes it best for me ;o)

Agreed - The U.S. played a great game against Ghana.

I couldn't believe it when they scored a goal in the first 45 seconds of the game!

Thanks but not interested. Just not a fan of soccer. I appreciate the thought, though. But as I said before, I hope you enjoy this sporting event.

Fair enough so why make comments in a thread you're not even intrested in? Makes no sense.....

Looking forward to Australia V Netherlands. I fear Australia is about to be taught a football lesson. I'm thinking a 4-0 loss here.
