I hate losing the japanese background I hated Shredder being a Utrom in the 2003 series too. just keep the basics then add flair from there. sometimes writers think they are being extra clever with their twists, but they are just being stupid.

I think Bay is telling a few porky's here, or maybe not. Platinum Dunes came on board in May 2010 and the two writers who wrote this script were hired last June. Also, the script I’ve read was dated 30th January 2012. Just saying.

Still, at least Bay is acknowledging the situation, which is encouraging. It basically means there will be changes in the finished article. I just wouldn't get too excited. Don't expect some miracle and for the new draft to all of a sudden be a perfect adaptation of the source material. For example, like it or not, the alien angle is here to stay. They’re working with the same writers, which is more or less confirmation that they’re working from the same basic treatment. I do believe the newer draft is probably going to be (slightly) more "fan-friendly", though. I'll be ticked off if Krang, Bebop and Rocksteady go, however. They're three elements that were actually handled right. Plus, I’ve been waiting to see them in a live-action film since I was five years old.

The Latest news we can all moan about. Michael Bay tweeted something about TMNT and Meghan Fox. New Rumor is she may be april oneil. If this is true, I curse the day michael Explosion Hack Bay was born.

I just read something saying this earlier. All I can say is UGH! Whether she's April or not... Megan Fox and Michael Bay having ANY involvement in a new TMNT movie is just a horrible, HORRIBLE idea!

Just kidding, but I've softened on Megan for some reason. I don't like her but i've ZERO faith in this movie at the moment so no other news can bother me. They can cast Dom Deluise as Shredder and Justin Beiber as splinter and I'll feel as apathetic about it as i do now. lol

Wow...this movie has disaster written all over it. PLEAESE PLEASE PLEASE keep Michael Bay and Meghan Fox away (as far as possible) from any potential MOTU movie. UGH!
