All right, got a few things to type here.

First off, we got the Nefera replacement, so thanks again for letting me know that Mattel would replace it. Unfortunately, her left leg is extremely loose to the point that it cannot be posed at all because it just swings around to the opposite side. Is there any way to remove the leg on my broken Nefera (since the left leg is the one still fully intact) and put it on the replacement one? The joints on that leg are nice and tight.

I also noticed that the hip pegs that hold her legs are blue and green on the replacement, whereas they are just white on the broken one. Odd.

Next up, I found Drop Dead Com Spectra at Target about 15 minutes ago. They had the other two as well, but now I (yes, I, since Spectra and Robecca are the ones I want for myself!!!) finally have a Spectra. It isn't the original, which stinks, but she is pretty awesome. I like her hair a bit better than the original one, but I still like the black dress on the other. The chains are wicked awesome though.

Speaking of hair, is there any way to get the white wire thingies out of their hair? Any time I grab a finger I get pricked by them.

Wow. This is a pretty awesome Early Access exclusive:

    Q. What about SDCC products?
    A. Here’s the great news… a fan suggested we offer SDCC products like the ones sold during our SDCC After-Party Sale through Early Access and we think it’s a brilliant idea! So, as a subscriber-only benefit, we’ll offer products through Early Access any time we can in 2013, including uber-hot toys like Scarah Screams™ from Monster High™ and even prop replicas like the 2012 Back to the Future Hoverboard.

    Scarah who?

Went to Meijers today, and lucked out. One of each of the beauties was left. But not Robecca... . But soon, very soon.

Tweezers or plyers will work. Its easier if you do it before removing the doll from the box though

How can you remove the things from the hair though before removing the figure from the box?

Alternately, you can cut them and push the stubs into the head.

In this way they aren't loose inside the head? I mean, if you shake her you hear rattling?

Anyway, whenever I open a MH doll I cut all the wires first except the ones that keeps the head, then with a plyers I carefully pull out the last wires on the card side, they should pop out without breakage if you apply a a slow but steady force.

I managed to break the wires on the head only on my first doll (a DT Ghoulia), then I learned from my mistakes!

Hey, I just realized that my Spectra did not come with any animal.

BTW, has anyone had their SDCC stuff from Matty ship out yet?

Only the first release in the main assortment (ie, the one shipping now with Robecca and Venus), the couple two packs (Cleo/Duece or Draculaura/Clawd) or the odd larger releases like the Hydration Station and the TRU version of Ghoulia's Scooter come with the pets (but even that's not a fast rule, either, as the basic release Cupid doesn't include one).

That is because you did not buy a Signature Spectra, you bought the Dot Dead. Subline dolls do not have pets.

My SDCC stuff shipped a few days ago, from what I see they are working through the orders slowly.

Ah, I did not know that. Oh well, I like the DDC Spectra better anyway, so that is fine.

Thanks for the PM though Markatisu, I'll keep your store in mind when we have money again.

And my SDCC order finally shipped.

There is no Roller Maze special, those dolls are made to promote a video game that is coming out soon.

I would expect webisodes leading up to the games release similar to how we had webisodes to promoted the fearleading set and the Dead Tired dolls

I stopped by Target this morning and they were doing their reset so I picked up a set of the Scary Tales for my wife!

At the SDCC panel, someone aske about the "Friday Night Frights" special and they said its date is TBD. This might be the roller maze special?

Oh yeah that was the one that got delayed since it was supposed to air this month (July) which would line up with the launch of Roller Maze.

I wonder if they moved it a bit to coincide with the video game release so that they can push both products at one time (doll and game)

Well, some good but not really good stuff occured at TRU today. When we got there, they were just putting out some Hydration Stations, so my g/f grabbed it because we may never see it again. The problem is, we really shouldn't have, but again, if she hadn't bought it, it would be gone forever. Collecting blows sometimes, because it is always a guarantee you will find a hard to get item when you can't really afford it.

Of course, it also blows that I had a rewards $10 off coupon on $50 or more that turned out to have expired yesterday. Oh yeah, and they had the roller maze figures in, but since the coupon was dead, she didn't get any of them.

I have had that happen to me too many times, but yeah the Hydration Station is now discontinued with Mattel so once the warehouse stock is gone its gone. I saw some today at TRU and thought of you but I was hoping yours would get them too since its a pain in the butt to ship

Man, lately I have been striking out big time with this line. Still haven't found Robecca or Venus, and my quest for getting a Scarah under $100 dollars is hopeless. Apart of me hopes that this line slows down a little so the scalpers will take a chill and that merchandise will be more available to actual collectors and kids. It's interesting to see how long this craziness will last.

Do you have a Luvs gas station near you? We saw both Robecca and Venus there on Saturday for $24 ea

Walmart by us got a case of them in this morning. If you still can't find them in a week or so lmk and I can try to help you out. With all the dolls hitting now you would hope Scalpers are going to be thrown for a loop not knowing what to get
