Yep! You were definitely one who remembered Count Marzo well. You had an official VHS tape with a Count Marzo episode on it didn't you? Mine was a recorded tape from tv with awesome 80s commercials on it! Wish I still had a VCR to see if it still worked.

With all the Filmation threads coming back, we might as well bring this one back too. I'm not the biggest Filmation fan, but even this MYP fan could get behind the ancient evil of Shokoti and her cleric, Lord Masque.

I completely agree. Though the episodes are great, and unique for the Filmation He-Man, and the character designs are cool, and I'd be happy to add them/her to my MOTUC collection,,....

I am just not that jazzed about them. I mean, given the above, I would still rather have Icer, Strongarm, Fang Man, and Lizard Man more.

I acknowledge that perhaps the Shokoti and all is really great, but I too wonder what is so special.

Maybe just to have a new Vilian female, wonderful, but otherwise the three I mentioned above fit the origianl Vintage line better, and so I felt their exclusion more.

Frankly I'd rather have a Keldor Mother (and if it were Shokoti that would be cool) more, with a nice bio.

I remember watching her episodes as a kid, and I was scared of her. I love Shokoti, and I think the 4H could do great things with her design!

Great! For some reason a mod merged my Shokoti support thread with a thread that has the OP questioning why the character is even popular in the first place.

Wow, didn't know that you'd replied to me back then till this thread was brought back. Yeah, that was an official VHS from The Video Collection. I also had a SOTS but lent it to a cousin and never saw it again!

Shokoti would be an excellent figure - however there are other Filmation characters I'd like before her.

On the Gar issue ... maybe Shokoti isn't just a Gar ... but the first of the Gars. What if young Preternian Shokoti was somehow transported to Infinita in search of magiks and was somehow accidentally transformed into the blue-skinned witch that has haunted young Eternian kids' nightmares for generations. Then later Shokoti sired the first of the blue-skinned race which ultimately in our time is known as Gars.

This may explain why the Eternian people shun the Gar prince Keldor.?

YES! Now that Mattel has Filmation rights, it is possible for us to finally get 'the Dark Goddess' aka Shokoti as an action figure!

Who is with me in wanting Shokoti as an action figure ASAPP? Her name was brought up enough in the Filmation polls so bring it on Mattel!
