Agreed - there's even a movie character in there!

I think that's a good portion of the fun in the updates to these - you never know which characters will show up, but there's always some kind of fun surprise. That, and you get to see more of gbagok's 200x-style goodness!

If I remember correctly, it's his own version because when he was drawing her for the Tour of Etheria, he was thinking of Angela Bassett, a strong woman. So from that he came up with how Queen Angella looks now.

gbagok's words from the Tour of Etheria (Brightmoon): I've said it many times that I wanted Angella to be very distinct visually from the Sorceress. I went further than just the design and changed her ethnicity. Also I kept thinking of Angella Bassett when I thought of Angella. This Angella hails from the mountaintop Kingdom of Mizar, as seen in the mini comic "Journey to Mizar." She married King Miccah of Brightmoon and ruled in his absence after the Horde seized him and took him to Horde World. Because her people have magical abilities, she can harness the magic of Brightmoon Castle better than anyone in Miccah's own family, making his union to Angella that much more meaningful. The armor for this design comes from Baena's more faithful update of the original toy. I added the septre myself.

Wow, I'm truly impressed with this batch. Those are beautiful illustrations and great bios. I'm glad you got to Mara. I recently discovered the NA series and I really liked how her character developed from the beginning of the series to the end. I hope we'll get to see her in figure form some day and I do think of her as a possible love interest to He-man especially in the new classics line or a potential love triangle there.

Karg is a cool design. I really like what you did with him. It makes me want to see Blade now.

Karg is very different in appearance from the movie but I think he looks great. I think its the greenish skin. the movie had white or gray skin & was ugly looking.
In his bio I'm curious who hired Karg. Could it have been Lord Masque? or some other warlord. I like that he becomes Skeletors most loyal warrior & that he distrusts Evil Lyn. I especial like the part about him not trusting EL. I'm now very curious about the time line for this guy.

I really love the bio for Orko. I feel you nail that right on. Orko accidentally taking his uncle Montorks place as the chosen guide seems right. Specially after reading the matty bio. I love this bio of Orko. Nice

I absolutely LOVE your Queen Angella. I'm glad that you opted to stick with your "Angela Bassett" design, which means that you'll likely do the same for Glimmer.

In my MOTU canon, the various Sorceresses of Grayskull are related to the same species/race that Angella comes from, based on your designs of Angella.

princess glimmer is like nothing I would have thought of. but thats how she would look if Queen Angella if of different ethnicity.

And I'm really loving that orko bio. It makes more logical since & more in character than mattys bio.

In your profile of the character Wun Dar. You had mentioned that he was tasked with fending off a powerful sorcerer from the future. Are you going to reveal who this sorcerer is? I'm curious to know if he is a new rival of Wun Dar or if he is someone that we all know from the present time of He-Man.

nightboy1984 I have a lot of those drawn and want to draw all of them (even Kay-La, and Dare also).

kylun flac, the wizard I refer to is a character we already know. I didn't want to create someone new for the unofficial bios. I'm probably giving a lot away, but this gets covered in Book of Evil.

Dark Knight, I actually only have one of those characters right now. I hope to post that one before too long, and draw the others as well. I have not drawn a 200X blonde Angella or Filmation Glimmer. I will draw them in other forms when I draw them in different styles (different eras that is). I don't know when I'll try that though, I do want to get into MYP versions of Classics designs at some point. But I have a lot more fun with 200X honestly.
