You know...would Keldor match up better with the DC vs Motu Skeletor, skin-wise?

Toyguru did mention once that Keldor is so vibrant in color because he turned more pale and faded in color when he became Skeletor. Sorta like an "undead" motif.

The 200X swords in Keldor's hands look too detailed in comparison with the figure itself. Still doesn't take Mattel off the hook for Classicized versions.

Definitely getting two Keldors for that extra cape to put on Skeletor.

I'd love to know if the swords lock together as well. For the love of all that is holy, I can't get any of my half Power Swords to stay together.

Thanks for the review Dan! It was great. I have to say, after seeing the review I'm more excited for him. His face looks wicked cool and the armor looks fantastic. I was hoping for a shot with Keldor and Hordak....but I did like seeing him with Kronis and the rest of the henchmen.

And yes, I also like the 200x Keldor better still. :-)

Nope. Not even a little bit. It's just like all of the others so far. None of mine stay together, either.

Thanks for the review Dan! It was great. I have to say, after seeing the review I'm more excited for him. His face looks wicked cool and the armor looks fantastic. I was hoping for a shot with Keldor and Hordak....but I did like seeing him with Kronis and the rest of the henchmen.

while i love the detail on the 200x one theres just something about that grin that makes the new keldor's head much better, its so smug and arrogant perfect for the phrase pride comes before an acid splash

Indeed. I really hope you don't miss him, though! Or anyone that wants him, for that matter. I really do like this figure a lot. Dare I say, more than She-Ra (when comparing the two June figures)

Great review Dan! Simply put...Keldor's hot. I think he and Scareglow are my favourite MOTUC men so far! Keldor is beyond my expectations for what he would look like. The only thing I find lacking is the swords. We REALLY need "classicized" 200X ones. They're too big and sharp/pointy/anime. If they were made a bit smaller, smoother and a bit less detailed (while maintaining the eagle and ram's head theme), they would look phenomenal! The power sword re-pack is just...well...lame.

My favourite figures from the 200X line were She-Ra, then Keldor. I think it might be that order again. For now, at least.

There's not much to add... MOTUC Keldor is a cool figure, and I can't wait to get him.

I'm happy to see that the long hair doesn't hinder the articulation much ! That's how they should have made Tytus's hair too, so the movement would have been better.

There's just ONE thing I wonder, and that you didn't really mention in the review : do both halves of the sword join nicely ? Or is it a pain in the neck to have a "full sword" ?

Grat review! Never was able to get the 200x version so I plan to snap this guy up! I do have to say the two half swords are kind of lame... But the rest of the figure is so great I don't care.

Thanks for the reminder, Arthur ! I didn't see Pixel Dan had already posted an answer ! So I guess we have one more stupid and non-usable accessory, since both halves of the sword cannot even hold together ! What a bummer !

Mattel didn't produce the 200x double sword, but they ALSO released this totally redundent and pointless weapon (2 traditional halves of the power sword that are unable to "stick together"), in my opinion.

Very sad... Oh well, I'll probably have to put that blue power sword from the weapons pack to good use.
