Awesome, thanks! I'll still check if it's on demand, but if it's not, this will be plan B!

After seeing all the centers I think my 2 favorite have to be Red and Blue, Green was not as cool as I was hoping it would be.

While I've enjoyed the series as a whole, these last two episodes were probably the worst of the series. Pidge as a big music star? lame. Taking pot shots at some of the critics? Not sure if that is wise.

Well considering 90% of the audience is little kids they probably don't care what the critics\older fans\net fans think, its not like they were going to think any better of the show

I mean especially since Dudley was so annoying, I had bigger issues with the name Awesometron....uggh

I did like how Keith was in this episode, sometimes I do not think they go far enough to portray him for what he is (leading of the Voltron Force)

The music episode was the big for me, it just did not seem to fit in and I think its lead up to Pidges boomerang shield was not nearly as cool as say Lance's Gun, Hunks Mace, or Allura's Trident.

Here is a look at next weeks ep

Episode 14(the music episode) had me straining to stay awake while the most recent one had so much I liked in it along with other things that just left me asking the animation gods "why?".

I liked the idea that the cadets had their own mini-Voltron(while its design wasn't great, it looked cooler than most of the robeasts on this show) & traveled to Earth, Pidge's old costume in Dudley's "museum"(along with a mention of Sven), and also liked that the Lions are portrayed as practically sentient rather than just cool looking vehicles.

I didn't like Dudley(they gave a geeky guy that same annoying lisp in a Garfield special), the fact that he actually gave the cadets a run for their money, or that Keith had to work that hard to find a giant robot cat in the middle of a jungle plain.

I was a little let down with what was going on with the Lions. I was excited that they seemed to be building on their mythology only to feel cheated by the cheesy reason as to why they were ejecting their pilots.

I still find myself having a pretty good time watching this show in spite of my brain telling me that I'm probably 25 years too old for it.

    Soooooo...

Did no one see the new episode yet or was it too much "ninja scientist zombies" to even comment?

I watched it tonight after dinner, it was actually a pretty good episode. Nothing really annoyed me like in the last few episodes and story and character development wise it was one of the best in the series. We found out that Larmina can use her power with Voltron, we found out Chip's people helped create Voltron, and that now Lotor knows things the Voltron Force does not even know.

I loved that Chip was acknowledged as Pidge's brother and that at least sets up the possibility for a Vehicle Voltron or at least members of that team.

I think this episode would have been much better placed around the time of Halloween though

I thought the episode was OK. While I prefer the "fun" of this show over the more serious versions of other franchises(MYP's MOTU, CN's Thundercats, Young Justice), a planet full of ninjas was a little too goofy for even me. Also, Lotor's "power-up" seemed to me to be this show's version of Samurai He-Man and Power Armor Lion-O.

I was hoping there would have been a mention of "Vehicle Voltron" with Chip's appearance.

Yeah I lol'd at Lotors armor and thought the same thing

Ghost in the Lion is on Nicktoons online as well as iTunes

    SVEN RETURNS!

This was probably the first episode since the series started that really had ties back to the original, I love how Sven's son is in the care of Nanny now and that they opted to basically cast the cadets aside and make this one about the original team

I loved the last episode!!! From the mastadon robeast to Sven's sci-fi viking armor. Sven has always been like Boba Fett to me(or Stratos if we are talking MOTU); not a lot of screen time but a character I really loved none the less. I'm so happy the episode didn't disappoint. I thought it was great how Lotar got upset when Sven called him "prince". I really hope they touch on Zarkon someday.

FYI, the new Voltron comic from Dynamite debuts next Wednesday. I wonder how long before Thundercats follows suit?

First off Shokoti love your avatar, RIP to one of the funniest men to have ever graced the stage

In happier news I just won the Voltron Xbox 360 video game from Voltron's Twitter Trivia contest.

They wanted to know what the JP Name of the Vehicle Voltron show was. So suck it Lion lovers, for once Vehicle knowledge FTW

So Pidge is a ninja scientist musician? I did not care for that episode. The one with Sven was a lot better. I hope that isn't the last we see of him.

With all the hype they gave him going into this episode it better not be, plus they have his baby so I hope we get some update on him before the season is over.

Thanks. I had 2 friends text me the other day since they didn't have a clue as to what was with my new avatar. I think Patrice is going to be another Bill Hicks; a comedian who died young, was extremely talented, loved by his fellow comedians, but was far from a household name with the general public. I haven't been this sad about the death of someone I didn't actually know since Chris Farley, Jim Henson, & John Ritter.

FYI, we should add Comic Book to the thread title. Voltron # 1 by Dynamite Entertainment came out yesterday. I got all 4 covers plus the Hastings Exclusive Cover. I still need to read it though.

It has quite an interesting twist to it! (which I won't spoil here)

I'm curious to see where they go with it.

I still think it's amazing that game even exists. A brand new videogame based directly on an old 80s cartoon isn't something that happens very often.

Can you imagine if a game based on the Filmation He-Man series were to come out next year on the Xbox 360 or PS3?

just watched the first episode of this so I thought I would revive this thread with my quick thoughts

The story was boring and uninteresting

The characters were bland and totally unrelatable

The animation was some of the worst I have EVER seen, it was absolutely incredibly and epically TERRIBLE, in fact no that doesn't cover it as it goes beyond that, it was so bad it made my eyes want to puke just to look at it. I mean I have seen flash animations done by a team of ONE on youtube and other such sites that looked like they had infinitely higher production values then this atrocious piece of *** which is so...I don't know! Seriously how can a show with lots of people working on it, including professional cgi and traditional animators put out a show that doesn't even look as good as what one person has done in his spare time using Flash?

Oh and the voice acting was fine but pretty forgettable, no real issues with it other than if I heard their voice again without pictures I would not be able to tell you who is who
Take a look at my attempts at coloring

and if you get the chance

    Thanks!

I like this show but I have a feeling this episode is going to go right up there with the one where we find out Pidge comes from a planet full of ninjas. I love Gremlins but I never thought they'd be better if they looked a little more like Pikachu.

Are previous episodes still available to view online? I have some catching up to do. I think it changed time slots at one point and I missed a few episodes. I know that they formed the green center, but I never actually saw it.

I wonder if the lack of toys for Voltron Force(according to ToyGuru at ToyFair, they aren't coming anytime soon) says something about Mattel, action figure sales in general, or the "popularity" of Voltron Force? I know the toon broke records for NickToons, but isn't that channel relatively new? It would have been different if it broke records on Nickelodeon.
