I know a lot of us are not feeling the 2 halves of the purple sword for Keldor... TG said that they are more classic etc.... in the recent Q&A he stated that he has 2 purple swords just like the 200x without the "hyper detail" that is not true. One sword was purple one was more orange. I for one may use a half of Faker's sword and the purple half that he comes with. These colors would better represent Keldor's sword, and would still look "classic" Also cool that Keldor could have cloned one of his own swords to give to Faker down the road. Just a thought, and being that Faker is re-released and comes with the orange half sword, I thought some folks might like this idea.

When I get my reissue Faker I might take his half sword and Keldor's half sword, paint the blades silver (for some uniformity), and call it a day. I'm really confused as to why they didnt just do something like that to begin with....i guess orange and purple together qualifies as anime hyper detail.
right? Yea I like the silver idea, that would have made so much more sense... kinda what they did with Wun-Dar's sword. What type of paint would you use so it doesn't chip?

I'm giving Keldor the 200x Skeletor Swords.
I don't collect the 200x series anymore anyway and had them left over from the lot with this in mind. Same thing for Man-At-Arms' 200x Canon and Prince Adam's smaller 200x Sword.
Why do many figures get their 200x weapons, newest example is Whiplash is packed with his 200x axe next to his classic spear, and that's not anime hyper detailed to them is beyond me. It's a bad excuse to tell us the Keldor swords must be the classic power swords. Keldor should have come with the 200x swords as well

Bah, I'm just going to cut half of the blade off of each sword and paint them to be their correct colors. Keldor's sword are not the power swords to me- they are glorified rapiers.
I'm just calling mine the Sword of Destruction (from the UK comics) and being happy with it!

well, i was thinking about giving him the silver short sword from man-at-arms' backpack and the blue one from the weapons pak: it's a lazy solution, i know, but it may work (more or less).
I'm sure 'fan demand' will kick in next year with a new weapons pack and 200x swords. It probably is a selling tactic.

I'll be doing the same....giving my Keldor his true weapons he should have had to begin with. just as my skeletor wields the 200x weapons & has a cape.
I guess i never tried to see if MAA's 200x arm canon fits the motuc figure. good idea.
As for Adam, i hope when they get to making the teen version, he'll have his proper 200x sword, since they've already made one they can just pack it in with that version of Adam.

Could Spy Magician make classicized Keldor swords if Mattel won't?
My problem was the fact that the half swords aren't really accessories. That's why the figures came with the half swords for that little extra cool factor, AND a whole sword. They don't look that cool when they're just the half swords, so Keldor is gona look goofy when he's got them apart. Aside from that, though, there's also the fact that he doesn't have any unique weapons. I'm an accessory man, however, I'm also easy to please. It takes a lot to disappoint me, and total lack of imagination is a big one.
I bet he could if he removed the detail. Probably something like the sword's plain design in the toon.

What I'd really love to see someone try is take a pair of half-swords and do some cutting work to make them combine like the 200x swords, rather than how they do now.
I never thought about using faker's Half sword. Too bad i super glued it to wun-dar half sword

blades are not detachable, but very resembling of 200x keldor's swords (imho).
At 8" tall, these figures do not work well with MOTUC... the sword hilts are *huge*, far too thick for anything but Skeletor's open hand.
And seriously, if you're going to buy a sword for Keldor, spend the money on a 200x Skeletor and get the real one.

i'm not going to buy zartan (i'll give to my keldor the short swords from maa and weapons pak), just meant to share the pics to highlight the resemblance.
Yeah, I've got that Zartan and the handle is way too big. Doesn't cut out other Sigma 6 weapons, though! Most of it is packed away, however. I still plan to dig it all out at one point and see what weapons fit.

I am also using the 200x swords for my Keldor when he arrives. Skeletor is currently modeling them on my TV, and they don't look "half" bad. LOL!
Doesn't matter to me. Always hated Skeletor's 200X swords anyway. Almost as much as I hated the 200X Power Sword.
