Who wants MOTUC figures of the runner-ups from the create a character contest ?

First congrats to Daniel Benedict and Nathan Bitner for their winning entries of their two characters Photog and Castle Grayskullman respectively.

But who wants MOTUC action figures of the characters that came in Second Place ?

From both Create a Character contests . The one from the 80s and the recent one that ended not too long ago.

Can anyone remember the runner-ups?

One runner up I remember from the 80's is I think it was this character named Compactor . If my memory serves me correctly I think he was a villain and he kind of looked a little bit like Trap-Jaw .

I wish I could find the article from the USA today's archives .

I would buy them but dont want them until everything else is produced first, id want the characters from the power and honor catalogue first.

Hey, this might be the announcement at NYTF..... seeing as how all those designs are now the property of Mattel, a new "Runner-Up subscription" may happen...

What I really want now is action figures based on the designs of Snake Mountain, the Fright Zone and the Crystal Castle to complement Castle Grayskullman.

As for the actual runners-up, given the fairly substantial number of POP/The Great Rebellion, New Adventures and Filmation characters which are yet to be released in MOTUC, I would prefer to see "known" characters in the line before more new, fan-created characters.

In 2018 yes. Before then, no, not by a longshot. Way too many other established/ beloved/ needed characters first.

To be honest Bubblor is the only one I like.

If we get 'Netta' from the vintage contest, will her body be her accessory?

No thank you. I'd prefer any existing character over another fan character.

Or if they must create new figures, I'd rather they come up with them themselves.

No, no, and no! I have zero interest in these characters. I think we have gotten a huge fill of new/concept characters lately. I'd rather finish filling out the ranks of Pop and Na.

No thanks, nice designs but I'm just not fussed about having figures of them. Plus there is sooo many existing characters that have never had figures before that they could do

This would be a good two-pack set.
Since the finalists got knocked down due to Gang-stor...they could do 2 two-paks

Gang-stor was the only one of the finalists that I didn't like.

I'd like to see how Three-Beast would turn out, but the others were just uncreative and mediocre. Well, Gangstor was just terrible.

I'd much rather see what the non-winner entries were, and let us fans vote from there. I know there have got to be some really good concepts out there that Mattel bypassed. Selfishly, I know my entries were worthy of MOTU, and actually fit the vintage style/gimmicky nature of the brand.

I think this would be a good concept for a coffee-table book.
Then, the people who purchased the book could vote on which entry would be made. This would be separate from the subscription. (Maybe even do a 4 figure mini-sub).

Anything Mattel makes in the MOTUC line and sculpted by the 4H, I will want and buy. I thought all the runner-ups were better than Castle Grayskullman, so yes I want them as well.
