    Stinkor: Odiphus or Nodiphus???

I know that this is a moot point since most of the bios are coming from the MYP MOTU cartoon(and that's the only Stinkor origin so far), but am I the only one who dislikes Stinkor being a mutated Ewok/Mogwai? For the record, I LOVE Stinkor, but I'd prefer he either have no origin, be a mutant from birth, or just an extremely rank smelling member of a skunk-like race.

I love the MYP background story. Seeing Odiphus in prison when Kahn escapes was priceless.

I also like the fact that Stinkor is mutated, therefore one of a kind and unique!
No race of Stinkors living in a jungle somewhere... (Beastman)
Not even king of the skunks (Merman)
No last if the species (Webstor)
    Just... STINKOR, SMELLY FREAK!

I like evil little creatures. So yes - Odiphus all the way!

I'd like to know, if you can feed him after midnight....
Maybe Marzo as an archenemy was the biggest thing to happen to Mekaneck, but as far as Marzo was concerned...it was Tuesday.

    I voted for Odiphus.

The origin is already there and is pretty complete.

    ODIPHOUS!!!

I have always loved Stinkor, but 200X and MYP made me love him even more. The MOTUC figure must come with a little (poseable!!!) Odiphous figure! I feel confident that we will see this angle in his Bio, since Peleezeha (Not sure I spelled that correctly...) is on the Map of Eternia.
Not to sound like a creepy cheerleader for Uki, but it's nice to know there is at least one person on this forum who is extremely positive & friendly all the time. I don't think I could be that nice even if you paid me. If we ever give out awards for "forum member of the month", Uki gets my vote. -Mr. Shokoti

The 200x story of Odiphous was awesome in my opinion. It took a relatively average character and made him simply awesome! I actually really look forward to when Stinkor will be made and hope he comes with a little Odiphous accessory! That would rock.

I voted YES for Odiphus for all these reasons.

Stinkor's origin could probably do better than Odiphus, but I really like it that way.

I'm tired of characters' origin stories, they kill of all the imagination and deprive the franchise of its mystery elements... Look at the MOTUC bios to see where this stuff leads to....

    This times a million.

MOTU hardly ever had origins or bios and that's what made it cool back in the day. It made you think, it made you use your imagination. Killing off lots of the mystery and unknown in MOTU while using played out angles and storylines just makes me sad. (and this is exactly why I disapprove of "Uncle Keldor", "King Grayskull", etc...)

Anyways, I voted that I don't care. I can accept the Odiphus origin of Stinkor, but I wouldnt shed a tear if we never get a little Odiphus guy or not. I just want Stinkor.

All I want is that he's not just an average skunk man from the race of skunk people who all have the power of patchouli oil. That would be too ridiculous.

Other. Personally, i'd like to see what new background story Mattel could come up with for Stinkor. If Odiphus is to be released with Stinkor, then i guess the 200X story seems the way to go.

That how I like it to remain. A mutant one of a kind.

I second that Eterniandreams! I always loved Stinkor and the Odiphus background just made me love him even more. As far as I'm concerned: give us Odiphus as an bonus with Stinkor! Great bio! (Oh yeah, I voted Odiphus, in case you were wondering ;-))

I don't care what his origin is as long as he's not vulnerable to his own stench. That part is just plain reprehensible...

Since when do you care about the Bios?

    NOOOOooo! ODIPHUS ROCKS!

He's just sooo cute, with his little stick with a nail trough it, and a little bit grumpy... ^^

    ...AND THEN HE'S TURNED INTO A REPULSIVE MONSTER! > : ))

There's a brilliant sort of both tragedy and triumph to Stinkor, being turned into a smell-monster, yet he was such a dweeb to start with, that in some ways it's a step up, an opportunity for some real revenge.

    So keep the lill' fella'!

I don't. But that part in the 200X cartoon just makes me puke up bile (well, the 200X episode and my TB). Since when is a MOTU warrior vulnerable to his own power? It would be like He-Man being electrocuted whenever he's holding his big metal sword as he's getting struck by Castle Grayskull's power lightning...

I think a large part of what people like about Stinkor/Odiphus is his origin. As others have said, we see him rise from a small, seemingly insignificant troublemaker with aspirations of being a true threat and menace, and through determination, grit and not a little luck, he finally achieves his dream and joins the Big Dogs (Evil Warriors) as a valued equal. It's kind of like "Rocky", or "Rudy"..

Another thing I find interesting is that Skeletor apparently likes Stinkor, or at least hates him less than his other warriors. At the end of "The Sweet Smell of Victory", Skeletor, despite another losing campaign, excuses Stinkor from his warriors' punishment and praises his usefulness. Later, in of "Out of the Past", Skeletor takes Stinkor's suggestion of attacking his own home village, despite the horrific stench emanating from him, and doesn't even blast him! As far as Skelly's concerned, that's damn near adoration.
