Yes, I did, and while it has it's fair share of flaws, It was slightly better than 'Batman & Robin', and way better than 'Superman Returns'. However, Sony is still to blame for almost ruining it.

Agreed. In fact, any of these writers could've saved the third movie, or even the possible fourth one if Sony didn't get so greedy. At least Disney's influence after buying Marvel didn't result in Zac Effron, or A Jonas Brother getting the part for this reboot.

So what makes you sure that Sony wouldn't screw up the 4th one as well?

In my eyes the new pictures look horrible, but I'm still hoping for the best.

Andrew Garfield is playing Spider-Man... if you've seen The Social Network then you know he is a good actor.

As for the suit, I wait to pass judgment until I see it on screen in the first trailer. Remember, it looked a lot cooler in the first picture that was released that had the darker lighting.

Yeah, I'm definitely not feeling that costume.
I really hope it's the wrestling suit, as some have said, because if that's the official new costume, color me very disappointed.

Overall, I really like it. The only thing that bothers me is the silver bits on the boots and the tiny red back spider. But if I had to grade it, I'd say B +.

I think if the silver on the boots were black...and the blue parts on the gloves were black, it would look a LOT better.

I agree. Especially that crouching picture with the black background.

Get some proper lighting on there and I think it'll look great.

Yeah, I'm liking it. Keeps most of the iconic look with a few little differences here and there. Looks good!

This new costume is starting to look worse and worse, the more pictures I see of it.
In that last pic, with him standing straight facing the camera, the costume looks downright awful.

I dunno, it looks like the colors are kind of all over the place. There are so many spirals and waves of red and blue bleeding into each other that it just looks kind of busy and sloppy. Especially the hands and lower arms. And then there's that uneven strip of red that goes up the sides of the arms..it just looks overly complicated.

Because Superman Returns was a failure. They couldn't build a franchise out of it or Routh.

How exactly was "Superman Returns" a failure? I always assumed it was a sequel from the original(Reeves) movie, how COULD you build a franchise(without re-writing previous sequels) with movies like Superman III, Quest for Peace etc. ?

the design of the suit is terrible, no amount of lighting or camera work can alter this fact. They took an iconic suit and turned it into an atrocious piece of garbage
